  • Well, broadly speaking, there are eight we like, one we’re fond of, two or three we have mixed feelings about and then a few odds and ends.
  • Houston in the top ten!
  • Is there a poll in which Boise State isn’t sliding?
  • Nice to see the one holdout voting ‘Bama first.
  • South Carolina didn’t get a single vote this week.  (And Georgia, a school which it beat, received 22 votes.)
  • Breakdown by conference:  Big Ten (!) – 5; SEC – 4; Big 12 – 4; Pac-12 – 4; ACC – 3; MWC – 1; CUSA – 1.

    The following people are fools:

The people that voted for Oklahoma St. as the top team in the nation.

The person that left Alabama as the top team. Yes, I understand they had the opportunity to score more points and should have won, but they didn’t, thus they lost. You can’t be the best if you lost.

Looks like the guy that left Bama out of the top 10 also voted gt into the top 10….hmmmm…….

Yeah…great explanation he gave there wasn’t it?

I’m one of the 22 that voted UGA in. I hesitated to do it based on the head-to-head result but justified by the fact that today’s USCe team is not anywhere close to September’s USCe team. Whether or not my bias affected me, I don’t know.

Also, Houston’s got to play someone to get my vote, and they can’t keep giving up 30 plus to teams that are well into the bottom half of FBS.

I’m not sure how one can think Boise State isn’t a top ten team?

I get the newbie hazing, but aren’t we mostly past that now?

Is the same guy who voted bama first the same guy who did that turrible thing to those trees down there in aubie-ville? They lost, they gotta be 2nd, right?
    How are those trees, anway?

SC didn’t “beat” UGA, but they won. There is a difference, and that result was two months ago. It’s why the critically needed playoff will not necessarily be won by the best team, but at least qualified contenders will get their shot to earn it on the field. In the long-shot event that UGA beat LSU for the SEC title, we wouldn’t be the best team, imo, but we would have won.
