All shook up

Apparently Will Muschamp doesn’t see the SEC the way us normal people do.

“We have two good teams in our league — and that’s Alabama and LSU — and the rest of us you can throw us in a sack and shake us up,” he said.

I guess all that parity explains Florida’s first conference losing record in 25 years.

What a whiney bitch. Hey muschump, just because YOU guys suck doesn’t mean everybody does. Last time I checked, there were FIVE SEC teams not named Florida ranked in the top 25.

They have 2 games left and will only win one of them. I am pulling for whoever their opponent is in the bowl. Florida looks like 6-7 to me.

Muschamp is a loser doing what losers do: make excuses. In this case, it’s random, dumb luck that has caused this awful record for Florida. Poor Gators! All butt-hurt over their bad luck!

The best thing he could do is keep pushing, keep banging the drum that they can’t change offenses and be a top tier team overnight. Pledge adherence to the regimen and things will get better. But to hear him be a Whiney bitch like this makes me think he’s in over his head. The question is, how fast will he learn?

guess that explains why Georgia is a top 15 team and Arkansas is a top 10 team in every poll.

Remember when Bama beat Florida and they were all talking about how they’d see them again in the dome? What an arrogant group.

That’s pretty funny. “We’ve proved in the last 6 weeks that, really, any given SEC can whoop our ass”

It is hard to tell, isn’t it? There are a lot of crow connosewers on this blog and for various reasons. Some of’em are stray Dawgs just trying to come in from the cold. Just sayin that you are eating crow puts you up to the table, but doesn’t put the gravy on your words.

Think I know how to flush him out: Gators from FU eat Dawg poo….when they can get it. That oughta do it. Iz dat choo, Mike?

One of the great joys of this season has been the ability to read the blogs of Gator fans. Read Alligator Army for some amusing thoughts on Muschamp and Weis. Or Orson Swindle at EDSBS. It’s such a great joy to revel in your enemies misery.

Of course you can also read Allbarn blogs and hear how it is all the bad calls yesterday (they question Bennett’s TD, for god’s sake) and a bad O Line, and give no credit to the Dawgs. Oh, the pleasure in your enemies pain! It’s a beautiful thing.

The Auburn blogs are uniformly full of dazed, idiotic homers . Some of them decorated the oaks with tp at Updyke’s Corner, not being able to tell whether they won or lost after listening to postgame interviews. Haven’t seen a post that says Georgia has a great team. Ted Roof did say they got their ass kicked, but the fans say he doesn’t know what he’s talking about.

Seriously , read the articles posted at the top of Dawgbone. We couldn’t possibly have anticipated the depth of their denials. The dazed look of the coaches is worth bulletin bd material. The Dawgs have exacted the sweetest revenge beyond measure. And with athletic class.

      Priceless.

    • I too have received much joy from watching Spencer Hall wallow in his own self pity this season. So much joy that I was in fact barred from posting on the 4chan wanabee site which will remain nameless. Don’t feel too bad for enjoying watching him squirm – Swindle has a legion of moronic fanboys to cheer him up by posting the same old tired internet memes ad nauseam.

The funny part is what he’s implying is that his team, with it’s three SEC victories over UT, UK and Vanderbilt, puts them on the level with Arkansas, Georgia and Sakerlina.

Anybody think gaytor fans are buying that right now?

Gotta love that they have 5 conference losses.

Florida is in the bottom half of the conference this year. Above Ole Miss, Kentucky, Vandy, Mississippi State and Tennessee only.

I don’t think any reasonable person would put them any higher. LSU, Bama, Georgia, Arkansas, South Carolina, and Auburn are all better.

Hey, y’all cut Boom some slack. Read the whole article — he puts the Gayturds woes all on his shoulders. And after next year (maybe one more) those woes can be on someone else’s shoulders, and Boom can be looking around to see if anybody needs a failed HC to coach their secondary.

Really, how good was Muschamp in his 3 years at Texas? The way I see it, he got lit up in every big game. Texas gave up 30 or more points 10 times from 2008-2010. Texas had a horrible defense in his last season (2010) and the team failed to make a bowl. I always suspected his success at LSU was due to Saban, and his questionable success at Auburn was due to following Chizik. Auburn declined defensively after Chizik left and Muschamp took over. UGA certainly burned his Auburn teams for 37 and 45 points in 2006 and 2007.

I don’t have the stats on hand to back it up, and I’m too lazy to get them, but Will Muschamp mostly reminds me of a more petulant version of Ted Roof. I’ve never been too impressed with either of them, as a HC or a DC. And in fairness to Roof, his head coaching gig was on a much lower level than Cusschamp’s.

Pretty humorous take on Auburn’s beatdown from the Capstone Report:

“Look Auburn fan, your football team is soft. Is there a more dangerous place on earth to be than between Onterio McCalebb and the sidelines? He looks for contact the way a fat kid looks for salad.

When your bread and butter on offense is the double-reverse flea flicker tight end throwback…

    Or the hurry-up-to-the-line-and-run-another-trick-play-so-the-defense-won’t-be-ready…

    Or the squat-down-behind-a-bunch-formation-so-they-don’t-see-your-tiny-runningback-on-the-fumblerooksi…

    …you got problems.”

Your offense is bush league, and your coaching staff is filled with nimrods more concerned with waving towels, coming up with motivational acronyms and playing to the crowd than actual technique coaching.

Someone needs to tell Will that all the rationalizing in the world isn’t going to fool anyone into thinking that his team is anything other than full on dumpster fire of a disaster.

It is entertaining to hear that idiot blather on though.

Yes, yes it is — sometimes if you persist on repeating a train of thought enough it can become like reality. In Boom MFer’s version of reality, though, Charlie only has game-changing plays stuffed inside his sideline cooler and the streets of Hogtown are paved with gold.

Florida fans, even the those that recall pre-Spurrier, are too damn spoiled and arrogant to give UGA any credit whatsoever. I’ve run across several Gator fans/friends over the past 2 weeks and they all have a consistent message to share with me when referring to Jacksonville:

“wow, that was a battle of two BAD teams”

Talk about ungracious! I simply tell them that the 2nd half was a thing of beauty. They shut up then.

yeah, florida fans (like spencer at EDSBS actually) decided that the SECE was the worst collection of football teams in the country, once it turned out that florida was pretty bad.

You know what we did when we lost all the close ones in 2010? We didn’t make excuses and try to rationalize failure like this. We took a long look in the mirror, identified our problems, and decided to man up and start winning again. And I hope that it’s a chronic unwillingness to do this that dooms UF to mediocrity for seasons to come.

Florida fans want to go back to the excuse that Corch Meyer left the team in shambles. What?! The offense AND defense is loaded with 5 star players. It’s not the players fault. Muschamp can stay at Florida indefinitely as far as I’m concerned.

*Needs time to recruit “his guys”. Efforts will be torpedoed because no recruit honestly believes the coach recruiting him will still be there when he graduates.
