Craig James requests of and receives a leave of absence from ESPN to ponder his political future. Mercifully, that includes the bowl game he was scheduled to broadcast this Tuesday.
Happy holidays, all.

It’s a Festivus Miracle!!
Amen, brother! I’ll be sure to enjoy this little present from the WWL.
And as a citizen of Texas, I’d be tempted to vote for James just to keep him out of the broadcast booth. There’s not much he can do to screw up the gov’t that hasn’t already been done, but messing with my football games is just too much.
Amen. Let’s get this bastard elected.
now there’s a bumper sticker for Texas:
“James 2012: Let’s Get This Bastard Elected!”
Keep hope alive, indeed.
That’s change I can believe in.
That slogan is second only to the greatest campaign slogan of our era:
“On the other hand, Garrett, a wiry chain-smoker who ran for re-election with the slogan of “More ‘Dick’ in 2006…”
I know of five families who can now watch football in peace.
Craig James is not a conservative and doesn’t even play one on TV.
Ironically, he’s locked himself in an electrical closet to ponder his choices.
At first I thought that read, “…to ponder his political failure.”
I hope he appoints Ed Cunningham his campaign manager.
A Festivus maricle!
Oops, that one has been done already.
Great minds… I personally can’t wait for his campaign staff to start trolling the comments section of EDSBS.
