Kneecapped

Every Georgia fan’s least favorite Vanderbilt player has been dismissed from the team.  Evidently it has something to do with a team rule involving anatomy.

… Stewart played in nine games and made six starts prior to suffering a season-ending knee injury at Tennessee. His progress was slowed at the start of the season due to a bout with mononucleosis…

“It’s like I’ve told you, I’m going to have a player’s back but they have to have my back, our team’s back and the university’s back,” Franklin said. “If it’s going to come to a point where I don’t feel like it’s that way, we’ll make a change.”

Jeebus, is there any situation he can’t make sound confrontational?

With all those back problems, Franklin’s going to need a backiotomy

Too bad. I looked forward to the Dogs taking care of that cheap shot artist next year. Oh well, we still have Franklin coming.

Franklin is a whiny gash, and his faux tough guy posturing is wearing mighty thin. As far as the player goes, though, screw that cheap shotting shit.

Uhh..there would be a dash between “cheap” and “shotting” , although “shit” is in the correct affirmative context.

If this was going on at Georgia, we’d either be hearing about how Mark Richt is ruthlessly gaming the scholarship numbers to get a bigger signing class (for kicking the guy off the team) or getting a lot of self-righteous criticism about how we harbor thugs (because we had him on the team to begin with). Franklin, however, will be immune from either criticism, because that would be DISRESPECTING him.

I guess Franklin needed to see Stewart play in the bowl game to determine if the “rules violation” that occurred a few weeks ago was serious enough to warrant dismissal.

Loving the Tweet from the senior. That probably opens some eyes to some guys they might be recruiting.

Thank you Senator, for leading us out of the woods of our dismay over the last few days. We needed a fresh subject or two and…wah-la!
Franken…er..Franklin may just be one of those gifts that keep on giving.

I’m going to have to dub the Senator, the Fox, for us not knowing he drug us into the forest in the first place.

Guess now there’s another spot open for all those 4 and 5 star guys they’re having to turn away from the program…

Maybe Franklin’s just trying to make room for all of the Maryland guys trying to bail out of that program.

Boy, relaxing the transfer rules would sure spice up the off-season. Imagine if coaches had less control over where and how kids transfer, which I imagine would loosen some lips even more. Twitter would explode.

Anyone catch the news that Dyer is moving to Arkansas State? Who will Chizik lose next?

The Vandy players leaving will “pave the way for” more signees for Vandy in this upcoming recruiting class. That sounds like oversigning to me. We are now officially down to UGA and Florida as the only SEC teams that will not oversign.
