“Do you have a question?”

Remind me again, Stewart Mandel, as you snidely comment about bloggers and showers, about the professionalism of the paid press.

On many a football weekend, I’ve found myself driving back up I-75 after dark on Sunday night. On those nights, I love to surf around for sports talk radio stations. I usually end up finding WWL at some point out of New Orleans, and if you’ve never had the pleasure of listening to Hebert’s postgame call-in show, you really should. He’s just a trashy redneck cajun who happened to be an NFL quarterback. He’d be hunting gators in the bayou had he not had the football career. As a consequence, the show is hilarious. You’d never believe you were listening to a major radio station from a major American city. This story about his postgame conduct doesn’t surprise me one bit.

What does Mandel have to do with anything? Reaching back for a quote from like 5 years ago just because Bobby Hebert was a dumbass last night? Mandel has nothing to do with it. He does a good job covering college football.

I like the way Stewart’s name will be linked to Bobby Hebert next time he googles himself. I saw what you did there, Senator, and I approve this message.

So because Blutarsky did a post linking Stewart Mandel and Bobby Herbert, the next time Stewart Mandel and/or Bobby Herbert googles Stewart Mandel and/or Bobby Herbert, Stewart Mandel and/or Bobby Herbert will be more likely to find this article linking Stewart Mandel and Bobby Herbert? I didn’t know that’s how Google worked, but I am amused by the thought of Stewart Mandel finding himself linked to Bobby Herbert in this article about Stewart Mandel and Bobby Herbert.

I wonder if Stewart Mandel killed any hookers?

There’s no way I’m going to start a rumor that STUART MANDEL KILLED 6 HOOKERS IN MONTANA. Ain’t gonna happen. No Google bombs here.

            Funny. Different and cogent humor.

My question, Senator: Did Bama finally demonstrate who they are this year at LSU’s expense? They also survived player loss during the game. They left no doubt in this game and proved the other loss was off a kicker’s foot, not the entire team.

I think we need more horses (2 deep) to take on Bama next year in the SECC Game.

Love some Bobby Hebert. I listen to Saints games on the radio as much as I can, and I’m pretty sure he’s already drunk by halftime. Beats the hell out of any Fox announcers on tv.

Tip of the “hat” to Les Miles. I thought he handled that very well.

I thought the same thing. Miles just got the crap kicked out of him by Bama and he has to be subjected to a diatribe like that. Maybe Hebert should be LSU’s HC since he obviously could have fixed the problems so easily by “pushing the ball down the field” with Jarrett Lee.

Bobby went to Northwestern State. And he’s no Terry Bradshaw.

So is his interest in LSU related to T-Bob or is it just at LA thing?

I listened to some other _journalists_ this morning that were disparaging bloggers. Obviously they don’t read GTP. This site is so far above the drivel that comes from the _professionals_ it is incredible. I realize not all blogging sites are up to this level, but the point should be made that blogging is a legitimate form of journalism even if the _professionals_ disagree.

Stewart Mandel is not a yankee. He’s a damn yankee. He’s from Cincinnati
and graduated from Northwestern. It’s abundantly clear from his past remarks that he feels superior to everyone in the south simply due to his geographically birthright. He frequently takes stereotypical, denegrating swipes at anything Southern. In short, I detest him.

    Thanks Stoop:
“Bobby went to Northwestern State. And he’s no Terry Bradshaw.”
    and Semper:

“Stewart Mandel is not a yankee. He’s a damn yankee. He’s from Cincinnati
    and graduated from Northwestern”

for the North by Northwest connection, a derivation from a direction-based fable directed by a Hitchcock that does not involve dead hookers – Bobby Hebert, not a Yankee or even a Terry Bradshaw but a Coonass, probably from southwestern Louisiana, went to Northwestern State, also referred to as the Northwestern of northwestern Louisiana. Stewart Mandel, not a Yankee but a Damn Yankee from the area of Northern Kentucky also referred to as Cincinnati (the home of Hall of Famer Barry Larkin, a notorious hook slider who sometimes stopped short), went to Northwestern. While it is unlikely that both Hebert and Mandel even majored in the same things at Northwestern or detested any hookers dead or alive like Semper detests Mandel, Hebert and Mandel do have this in common: Mandel hates things that are in the South and Hebert hates things and he is in the South.

Huh???? Dances with Dog in Fla is hurting my ears. (Semper exits to nearest cliff where he yells “Dances with Dog in Fla! I am Wind In His Hair. Do you see that I am your friend? Can you see that you will always be my friend? ……but I have no idea what you are talking about.

Me either. I was seeing things clearly. Making decisions wasn’t an issue. Then I wrote what I did. Other than that, I made great decisions.
