You know the old story about the guy who tries to set a friend up on a blind date and in response to a question about… ah… her physical attributes, responds along the lines of “she’s got a great personality”?
That’s how Maryland’s president describes Randy Edsall.
… When Loh was asked directly what he thought about the job Edsall had done so far, there was a long pause. A very long pause. Long enough for me to recite half the alphabet.
“Well, he’s our coach,” Loh said finally. “And, uh, I think he has some very, very positive qualities…”
Hubba hubba. Winning a bunch of football games had better be one of those pretty soon, I suspect.
Holy crap…sounds like it’s time to polish up the ol’ resume…

They can’t fire him. They can’t afford it. They spent all available dough on getting rid of “The Fridge.”

Randy needs more ben wah ball bearings. President Loh looks forward to next week’s episode in which Sally will have Randy playing the role of Commander Lloyd Bucher on the USS Pueblo, a tourist attraction in the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea

You say, “Backhanded comment.”

I love how you guys jump on Edsall. If someone were to badmouth Richt after one year, you would all be damned.

Exactly how many games did Maryland win last season? How many did Maryland win the year before Edsall arrived? I rest my case.
