It’s the best name for a school ever, PAWWWWWWWL.

Montgomery Public Schools consider and reject Nick Saban High as the name for a new school.  (h/t Matt Hinton)

At least somebody’s got a sense of humor about it, though.

Salter playfully declined comment when asked to speculate why there were no submission for Auburn University football coach Gene Chizik.

    Too bad.

When (not if) Saban leaves Bama, the Bammers would’ve gone ape shit and much of the vitriol would undoubtedly be directed at the “school”.

Not if they made a movie named “High Times at Nick Saban High”.

Just the other day a friend outlined an idea he had for a ‘zombie’ movie about bama. You’d know they’re bama zombies because they’ll be wearing houndstooth hats. The script almost writes itself!

Saban doesn’t have time for this.

Sounds like a place where teaching and learning would obviously be first and foremost.

“Chizik! The Cops!” could be a catchy name for some high school.

Did the school board wait until 5 minutes before the decision to pull his name from the running? That would have been fitting.

I wish it had happened. I would love to see HS recruits from Saban High go to Auburn.

Nick just took a look at the sophmores and sent 11 back to elementary school as “unable to perform” so more freshmen could come on the squad….no biggie, just “roster management”
