It was a 4 iron that was used bravely by his wife to free him from an SUV gone amuck and crashing into a neighbors tree. First used on the trunk window to allow airflow from the front window driver’s side that was immediately ventilated thereafter, this spunky iron was used effectively to remove him from the disaster of having to breath his own air. As in any daring and quick rescue, things can also go wrong. Ventilating an SUV is frought also with the danger of the emergency service recipient getting conked.
Recovering while lying on his neigthbors entrance walk, he thanked his wife for her freeing him from the wreck and choosing the correct iron to break heavy SUV glass. “She’s one in twenty”, he said while recovering in the hospital. He amended, “….uuhhh, make that twenty three.”
