“I don’t think it’s fair.”

LSU’s athletic director, unhappy that eleven of his peers are in favor of retaining permanent opponents from the other division on the schedule, actually said this about the subject:  “I think people have voted in the best interests of their schools and not the league.”

Unlike him, of course.

  1. I wonder what his vote would have been if Vandy were their permanent opponent instead of UF. Things that make you go hmmmm.

maybe we should all encourage our respective presidents to do what’s best for LSU. They can all wear bracelets that say “What Would Lester Do?”

I for one Love that fla has to play LSU every year—I think its terrific-LMAO

Les was a respected man, from my perspective, this time a year ago. Then he let Jefferson back on the team after his cowardly act with a gang, Then Les actually let him play, then he continued to play him when it looked like he was deliberately throwing the Bama rematch game. Now he is against having balance among the Big 6 in the SEC’s schedule. Go back to Meechigan Les, your true colors are showing through.

With Auburn being our cross divisional rival, which we wish to continue, we’ve only won 50% of the time. So what’s he bitching for?

Who are the others who voted with LSU? Anywhere to find out?

    • The article indicates that South Carolina is aligned with LSU on this.

That’s no surprise. Wonder who the others are, and their rationales.

I think there are really only four schools who give a flip: Georiga-Auburn, Alabama-Tennessee. Since, you know, LSU is going to belly-ache about it.

SC President said he will join LSU. In return, LSU will join SC to push for games in their divisions only counting for division title. After playing LSU in 2013, SC may not see them again until 2024.

Talk about running around with their fingers up each other’s butt….

This unholy alliance between LSU and USCe to basically trade their votes, one for the other, stinks. Shame on both schools. You bring discredit to yourselves and the SEC.
