Khat is what the Somalis chew in Mogadishu, and other remote East African hellholes as a way to get high. I’ve only seen it on tv, but it looks like someone ripped a limb off a holly bush and started chewing the leaves. South Carolina supporters strike me as having that same vacant, immune to reason stare that a gorked-out Somali warlord would have.
