Scarbinsky nails it, LSU and Miles are acting strangely these days. From the time Miles let Jefferson back on the team they seem to be weaker and less intimidating to me. That decision split the team and it carried over into the unexplainable actions in the BCS game. It was almost if Miles and his staff threw that game. I cannot imagine straying with a QB that acted as if he was drugged, or had a large bet on the Tide. It wasn’t like he didn’t have a QB option, there was a “backup” waiting in the wings who was undefeated last year as a starter.

Add to that LSU’s whining about playing UF and you have to wonder if there is some bad seafood being served in Red Stick. Unbecoming of a program that had become a Top 3 team over the past decade.

Changing the subject here….Mac, I am curious if you have any thoughts on Irish whisky? Someone gave me a bottle of Jameson and I thought it was really good. Others that are good or to be avoided?

Personally not a fan of Irish Whiskey, except the occasional late night coffee, cream, and Irish whiskey (Jameson is my choice for that). Bushmills is the Irish version of a single malt and usually drank straight up. Many folks like that so I keep a bottle in my bar for them.

Joe. Joe is a PAC-whatever fan who has only a very caveman understanding of politics and whose Caps Lock button is a little hinky. I will not acknowledge him with a response.

Hmmm the most fair conference he was ever in he went from worst to first and won head coach of the year twice. Now he gives rings for 11 wins and the conference isn’t fair, hmmm what has changed?

On today’s dessert table: Craig James garnered a whopping 4% of the primary vote for Senator in Texas. Word is the reality police are now searching for the 28,000 knuckleheads who actually voted for the guy.

Yeah, but he thinks it puts him in the Runoff. As a political neophyte, he doesn’t understand that it doesn’t involve running around the field at SMU. He’s looked at the other older candidates and feels he will win the Runoff.
