Still time to jump in the Pool.

Just a quick reminder that you can still sign up to play in the Fabris Invitational pick ’em pool.  We’ve got 132 already there, so you’ll have plenty of company.  The pool opens for picks on Saturday.

Go here to join.

Senator, will you remind us to make our picks like you do for the Mumme Poll?

  2. Nate Dawg

Sorry I missed this, but it is picking against the spread, correct? Not just straight-up winner? Again sorry I’m behind on this…

Well, looks like I’ll have some extra time on my hands this fall. Might as well get in.

Although I had already signed up , thanks go to you and the site sending a reminder request several days ago. My initial problem came from already having been signed up God knows how many years ago.

Sometimes I just don’t know what happens to my memory.

Maybe your neuronal connections have lost their snap. Not that there is anything wrong with that. Maybe mine have too. 😉

“The research shows that tetrahydrocanabinol (THC, the psychoactive ingredient in marijuana) impairs working memory by inducing a form of synaptic plasticity that weakens neuronal connections.”

        Wha? 🙂

I am not being nit-picky, but as a scientist I have to inform that THC has two “n”s. Also, I have an early Pharmacopeia that has Cannabis featured for several pages. I use pot for my glaucoma because it reduces stress, the causative reason for pressure buildup against the optic nerve blood supply, and to get rest mostly, but do a little social celebrating with it as well (like right after a Dawg win when viewed at home. Reruns too).

One day, “Smoke’um if you got’um” will be a social statement akin to “Care for a beer?”

User name is case sensitive. For whatever reason, everytime I type the case sensitive version of my user name that has a few caps, the internal software replaces it with all lower case.
