This protection will not stand, man.

Here is a situation that cries out for Penn Wagers.

11 Games since a Texas A&M offensive lineman has been called for holding. The Aggies’ streak stretches from a holding call in the second game of the 2011 season. Texas A&M’s offensive interior, which returns four starters for 2012, managed to avoid being flagged for holding even though the Aggies averaged 41 passes per game in 2011.

Welcome to the SEC, boys.

Just wait until they get their mandatory Illegal Formation penalty from the SEC crew for having an offensive lineman 3 inches off the LOS and “in the backfield”. That will have them scratching their heads. Just a sign of things to come for the two newcomers.

    Penn, GATA!!

I just hope that Penn has some special shit, like shellback initiation, cooked up for tAMU and Missouri so they get a taste right off the bat what it’s like to cross the equator to the dark side with tSEC officiating krewes

Those kinds of calls only happen to Georgia and/or any team playing the projected SEC Champion, particularly coming down to the end of the season.

I’m not sure I get your point, Senator. Are you saying Penn Wagers is so stupid that he might get their maroon jerseys confused with Georgia’s red ones?

      More like he’s so crooked………

There’s no way Penn can tell a maroon from a red. Penn has color-blind eyes like a dog:

“The result is that dogs [and Penn] have superior night vision and are better at tracking movement than we are, but see fewer colors and shapes and objects appear in much less detail.

The bottom line is that tossing an orange ball onto green grass may look like yellow against yellow to your dog [or Penn], but his acute motion-detection ability will help him fetch it anyway.”

Senator: I may read too much into it… but did you just do a “Lord of the Rings” ref in the title of your post. Nice.
Not to put you on to high a pedestal least you fall off but I have always been unmatched with my musical savvy and knowledge until I got this blog. I reluctantly give kudos to your game. Stay sharp though. I am always in the hunt.

Gee, A&M is almost as good as Alabama. Didn’t they recently go a whole season or something like it without a holding penalty?

The streak will continue until aTm is out of national title contention.

It is how the SEC rolls.

  9. Whats the over/under for number of plays A&M runs before the first holding call? I’m all ears fellas….

    • If they were playing UGA, “no penalties’ would be a lock. An O lineman can walk back to the huddle with a red remnant in his left hand and a facemask in his right and not be suspect.

Hadn’t thought of the brutal impact that the SEC officiating crews will have on the innocent naifs from MO and A&M. New meme @ week 4 of this year’s schedule from College Station and Columbia, Mo: “they’re picking on us ’cause we’re new!”
