Last week I forgot to submit my picks and went 6-4. This week I made sure to not forget again and I even did some research. What do I get for my efforts? 5-5

Senator, did you pick the Mighty Gators to beat the spread?

Oh and I went to-to-toe with you this weekend. And remain comfortably (numb) ahead of you overall.

So suck on some of DAT!

    • I did. I didn’t see them winning by as much as they did, though.

Me neither. I picked a 27-24 kind of game.

I picked Florida to win straight up, and had them +13 on a teaser bet. I felt TN played them closer than the score, similar to us and Mizzou. You could make a case before the 4th Qtr collapse that TN looked like the team who should be ahead on the scoreboard. They certainly did not capitalize on some opportunities (that fumble recovery by UF near the goalline early) in the game could have spun that game in a different direction. Bray came apart (again) and showed he has a $10MM arm and a 10 cent head. Driscoll is showing why the staff stuck with him. jax is looking more exciting every weekend as we both move along. I agree, hope UF is highly ranked, even if they get beat by LSU. Don’t want them having the underdog, can’t get any respect, role.

There were a couple of us who said we wanted you to win. If it wasn’t for the gators, I’d be 4-6.

We really want you to be ranked high before we play you this year.

Well, two things here fella. First, I am ahead of you in the picks. And second, I am glad you want the Mighty Gators to be highly ranked when your team plays them.

If so, it will be one for the ages.

Plus, I like the idea of the UGA coaching staff having to worry about playing against a good team in Jacksonville. It is something they have not had to do for the last two years. And when Florida DOES go into that game with a good team, they usually do pretty well.
