I don’t always travel to Auburn, but when I do…

Confession time:  I’ve only visited the Plains for a Georgia game twice.  But I’ve picked my spots well, I think.  The two I’ve made were the 1982 and 2002 games.  So when I go, the Dawgs win a title.

I’m about to head out and go with the hope that history keeps repeating.

Stay victorious, my friends.  And consider this your game day post.

We have seen for too many Georgia/Auburn games go the other way. This game worries me. BVG knows this offense very well. Auburn has yet to win a conference game. When rattled, we know what Murray is capable of. Special Team’s? I am not counting a single chicken prior to it hatching tonight.

How much did Florida pay the Rajun Cajuns to take a dive at the end of that game? Seriously? They don’t even try to drive the field and kick a field goal with 1:45 left? Have you ever seen a punter take that long to kick the ball? The end of that game REALLY smells!

I’m wearing my lucky sweatshirt and hat which I’ve worn for every game EXCEPT the cocks game. Dawgs are 8 and 0 when I wear both. Why didn’t I wear it against SC? What was I thinking?

I have mucho mixed feelings about the thrashing Bama is taking here. Tired of all the Saban worship, but this will clearly screw the Dawgs. (Of course, I suppose the bulk of the nation will get what it wants, as the SEC will be locked out of the BCSNC).

I don’t think is matters as much as we would usually believe. We need two out of the other three undefeateds to lose and win the SEC to make it. We won’t jump any of those other three even if we beat an undefeated Bama.

The A&M coaching staff made a terrible blunder at the end of the 3rd quarter. The Aggies were running all over the Tide and Bama’s D was gassed. There were about 15 seconds left in the quarter with A&M 2nd and 6 inside the 20 and —the A&M coaches let the time run out on purpose. Change ends. After about 5 minutes, when play resumed, Bama stopped A&M twice for no gain and the Aggies had to settle for a FG. This will come back to haunt them.

  22. The best we can hope for is that two more lose (Kstate, oregon, nd) and we beat Alabama in the SEC game … then we have to campaign HARD as the best one loss team in the country … feels like 2002(?) all over again and there’s still a lot of football left to play this year.

I hate notre dame with a passion.

K-State could still lose to Texas. Oregon could still lose to Oregon State or Stanford. Hell, the Ducks are in a competitive game with Cal right now as I am typing this and could lose that one. ND could still lose to Southern Cal. If any 2 of those 3 teams lose 1 game and UGA wins out plus beats Bama in the SECCG–we’re in! There is still a lot of football left to be played.

Auburn is as bad as advertised..they celebrate when they hold Georgia to less than five on a given play.

GT gave up fifty today to NC…Of course they scored almost seventy..Great defenses over in the ACC.

At least a few of these wonder teams in the top five will have to play Bama, UGA, LSU, FL, SC, etc….that’s when we can hope for revenge for the bias.

Too bad the Dawgs simply did not show up against Scu. Just like 2002 and 2007-on the outside looking in. Depressing as hell, but Richt will never win a national title because he does not have his team ready every week.

If UGA loses 24-20 at SCu, we are #2 in the country right now, ready to face Bama for a chance to play for the national title. Instead, we have to hope for Oregon to lose to a mediocre Oregon St., Kansas St. to lose to a mediocre Big 12 team and ND to lose to a terrible USC team. It’s so sad that this continues to happen over and over and over and over and over and over….

That is how you wind up continuing to settle for mediocrity. There would have been no shame in losing at Scu, it was just the fact that we did not even compete that is so damning. It’s pitiful but has been a distinct pattern since the Wvu sUGAr Bowl.

So is Alabama “settling for mediocrity” by losing to TAM today or LSU last year? 8-1 and ranked #4 in the BCS…. Man Websters must have changed the definition for mediocrity since the last time I checked. Go root for another team! We don’t need fans like you! Go Dawgs!!!

Bama did today what UGA did not do versus Scu. A&M came out on fire, went up by 21 and Bama still had a chance to win the game at the end.

Scu went up 21 on UGA and we quit. That’s the difference between Bama and UGA right now.

UGA just beat Auburn 38-0, just won the SEC East, is 9-1 with 3 games to go, has beaten UT, Florida and Auburn in the same season, is ranked #5 in the nation–plus might be ranked higher tomorrow–and still may end up in the BCSNCG. Yet you are still bitching! Some of you morons are never satisfied. Put a sock in it!!!

Some of us just have loftier goals than you do, sorry.

The national title was ripe for the taking this year, just like 2007 and the Scu game is identical to the 2007 tennessee game. How can that continue to happen, year after year?

So by your obvious superior wisdom, the only way to win a NC is to have a perfect season and go undefeated. Hmmmm.. Tell that to Bama last year, LSU a few years back, and the list could go on. What’s our record again.. Oh that’s right the same as Bama was at this point last year. That Saban “he’s never going to win the big one. Keeps slipping up.” #youareanidiot

Still an idiot! There are THREE undefeated teams. UGA would still be #4 if they lost 24-20 against USC. The coaching staff just coached a heck of a game and the boys played their hearts out. We are SEC East Champs for 6 of the last 12 years. You continue to be bitter. I am going to enjoy it. I bet USC (and UF) would trade places with our coach right now.

Against the one best team they’ve played in the last three weeks, they’re 1-0. This season they’re 1-1. I’m not going to hold this year’s team accountable for losing 4 games last year. Now, if they fail to show up in Atlanta, I’ll be right there with you about not showing up against good teams.

Georgia would still be number 4 because there three undefeated teams. The South Carolina game might keep Alabama ahead of Georgia at 5, but Georgia plays them, so who gives a shit? Georgia is exactly where they would be after any style of loss to South Carolina, needing two of three teams to lose a game in order to have a shot at the national title.

What miserable pieces of dung some of our “fans” are, with their lofty goals and constant criticsm of our players and coaches. Goals? You really think you know what athletic goals and team dynamics are? Losers like these guys should be slapped silly by their friends, if they have any, for ever talkig this stupid. I can say in my entire experience of “fandom”, I have never met a single “fan” who exhibits continual behavior like I see here. Sure, I have seen pople get angry in the heat of the moment and act irrationally and immature. Fire _____! Take ______’s scholly! Once they realize how silly they sound, or gain some perspective, they are embarrassed about how they acted. But never, never have I seen anyone pretend to be a fan that carries the continual on-going hatred and unhappiness these jerks appear to have….and at a time like this! That is what is weird about these posters today.

We just locked up the East for the 6th time on Richt’s 12 years at UGA with a 38-0 victory over Auburn, our 5th win in the last six years over them. We have won 8 straight over the four teams deemed to be our biggest rivals, and 11 of the last 13 games against them. We are 18-1 in our last 19 regular season games, and ranked in the Top 5. And you are bitching about the one? Go take your meds kiddies, you have mental issues if this is your approach to life. I hope you are just a low-life troll and not really a Dawg fan, there isn’t anyone that wants to be like, or with, folks like you…in any fanbase. And you will never find a team or program who can meet your “lofty” expectations. Every coach, player, or team loses at times, and sometimes badly. They honestly don’t mean to ever disappoint their fans, good or bad.

Maybe in your video game world no one ever drops a pass, misses a kick, throes an INT, runs into a hypedup buzz saw of a team, but that type of perfection doesn’t exist in real life. I doubt Spurrier can hardly sleep because he didn’t have his team prepared to play against Florida or Vandy, or Saban against LSU or A&M. Fortunately for them, the looney fans are all wearing red and black, or the other fans of those teams simply don’t tolerate people like them. Frankly, no one should. Most of your type wait until the next sign of imperfection to come crawling out, they can at least contain themselves for a moment where other people are likely to be felling down and irrational. You have a real bad case of misery, you choose a night when fans are celebrating a chance to go win a title to attack. In addition to not even know how to act like a fan, your timing about when to spew your venom is pathetic. I guess there are different levels/grades of losers. Enjoy being at the basement level of a bad group. As much as I dislike people posing as “fans” and constantly attempting to tear things I love down, I am really sorry for anyone who spends their life being so unhappy. Get some help guys, call Charter.
