“We remember the Sugar Bowl, I think it my junior year of high school, we let Alabama beat us twice,” Brinson said of a team that also lost to the Crimson Tide in the SEC Championship game. “We’re not letting Alabama beat us twice. In the Sugar Bowl in 2018, they… thought they should have been in the playoffs and lost to Texas.” -- AB-H, 12/27/23

If he could be asked to give the pre game speech and combine his rise up speech with our team our time no regrets, that might be the coolest thing ever!

Congrats to ND, too. They will be a worthy opponent, no matter if its UGA or Bama.

Agreed, BD. Notre Dame looks solid to me. Very good defense and competent offense. Of course we all know the true MNC game is this coming up this weekend. 🙂

Hate seeing ND win, but they keep on doing it…something to be said for that. Will be fun to see how they stand up to SEC Champs.

Stopped liking SLJ during the elections when he shared his idiotic political philosophy with the world…and I’m no fan of the GOP. He can take that Kangol hat and his preachy soul brotha act and blow as far as I’m concerned…what a phony.

Ok Debbie Downer. Thanks for checking in.

If I disliked every entertainer who espoused political views I disagree with, I’d pretty much have to give up entertainment altogether.

You know, sometimes I hesitate to post stuff like this because I really, truly don’t want to spoil the party. But it is not SLJ’s political leanings per se that bother me – for instance, I thought it was awfully sad when Adlai Stevenson died last week, and he’s about as liberal as they come.
It’s the bumper-sticker mentality, the combination of finger-wagging, ignorance, and arrogance from the modern political left that bothers me, and what bothered me about SLJ’s video. The GOP has its own problems that bother me just as much.
Y’all enjoy praising SLJ as a DGD, I don’t think very highly of him.

Congrats, Dawgs. Should be a great game in Atlanta. Our first time to play a team other than UF in Atlanta.
Also, props to the 2,000 Boog fans at the game yesterday. Smallest, least vocal bunch of Boogs I’ve ever been around at an Iron Bowl. They should be given a free pass next year to skip the games after on purpose going to watch the beat down.
Have a good day,
BD

I don’t know about you guys but I still feel 2008, the shock of that game, the humiliation and embarrassment. You can bet your last dollar that Mark Richt remembers it too. We will come out very hungry and extremely focused – bama has had their time, it’s ours now.

I don’t think y’all need that as motivation. There’s a natty on the line. That should be enough.
