This is the basic sentiment over at Stingtalk. A direct quote:
“It’s a world renowned top-tier engineering school against a collective group of retards. Let them have their one week out of the year to feel superior.”
They’re going to be really disappointed when they see we have more Rhodes and Fullbright scholars than their “top-tier” trade school.
What kills me is this false belief by GT fans that they are hamstrung in recruiting because they have self-imposed restrictions and can only recruit high character academic achievers.
Imagine how good they could be if they didn’t have to keep such high standards. Heck, they probably could have won the ACC in 2009, but their academic standards are just…oh wait.
Well they are not criminals and have high IQ’sI
The simple response to this is: If GT is full of such scholars and gentlemen, why do they have more NCAA probations than wins over UGA during this millennium?
They’re much more hamstrung by the abundant lack of females and rampant crime
I saw that on sting talk but spent more time reading the threads about (1) how we were violating them with sandpaper condoms (yep) and (2) how gt should drop the series because they cant be competitive.
Those losers are so pathetic. They were talking themselves into a frenzy all last week and most of them were resigned to getting beat and badly by us when they woke up this morning. Sorry excuse for a team, program and fanbase, but beating them never gets old
Its great to be a georgia bulldog.
Knowing how much they care is about the only thing that keeps this game meaningful.
Ever see Joshua Nesbitt’s writing? No school that allows him on campus can claim to be academically superior or hamstrung in recruiting.
those pencil necks better quit sending Mathletes and start sending football players if they want to win (without cheating) more than once in 20 years. It’s certainly a world renowned engineering school, but the idea that UGA grads/students are a collective group of retards is as much of a joke as their belief that they can compete with us in football.
Mens sana in copore sano, you mustard bitches. Keep lying to yourself that you’re better people than we are. It makes kicking your ass, then watching your futile rage at your insignificance, that much more enjoyable.
The butthurt over their right now is legendary.
It’s not just this week that we’re superior, you zit scarred horde of lifetime virgins
God I love an Irishman! 🙂
I asked a friend a couple of years ago if, based solely on the economic disparities between the two programs, there was any reason why we should ever lose to Yech again. He said, “I’m sure we’ll find a way,” but I don’t see it happening anytime soon.
What is “the hill” in reference to GT football? I keeping hearing it referenced by their fans but have no clue what they are talking about.
It is supposedly a highly rigorous administration that is simultaneously not allowing them to compete in football but has also seen their football program go n NCAA probation twice in the last 7 years. Truly a paradox I say.
thanks. that’s makes sense now. I noticed that they never offer specifics about how “the hill” has put constraints on them that do not exist at other schools.
Yes, don’t you know all their football players are required to major in nuclear engineering???
I saw one of the them called Richt a douchebag …really?
I’m 31… been a bulldawg since birth. But I honestly really started understanding football around 1999. I know they’ve beat us, but our worst year, that I “really” remember, we still be gt. We win Saturday and I’m taking out some savings for a trip to Miami. And it will be the best money I’ve ever spent. Born in 81 and man 2012 could be my best year alive!!
Do it baddawg. 1980 was my sophmore year and I went and blew everything I had in New Orleans. Best money I ever spent…good memrories you carry for the rest of your life are truly priceless. WOOF!
No Honey..you are just having a half life crisis.
Just tell’em 9:18 biotches.
Their old college.. President.. School heads.. Etc
Sorry that was meant as a reply to what is the hill
That was a pretty dirty play on Mike Thornton. Someone in our coaching box got really pissed. You clearly heard his outburst on TV. The announcers even apologized for it.
I went back and watched it, there was clearly a chop (low/high) against our nose tackle. Can’t remember who was at nose, Geathers and Jenkins had both been pulled from the game. I’ll have to go back and check it again. In fact it looked as if they got away with a chop two plays in a row and CMR was livid on the sidelines.
“That was fucking bullshit!” –Mike Bobo
Now Honey Bobo…..You know he is right.
It sure was. How Paul Johnson is allowed to continue this type of dirty play is beyond me.
Watched it again. Clear chop block on Thornton with 2:54 left in the game. And a few plays later, at 2:12 left Mark saw something else and came out on the field pleading his case with a ref, they called holding on the next play.
The level of amateurism on Sting Talk is laughable. It reminds me of the high school football vent. One thread is asking for donations. I would donate to keep Sting Talk alive but I’m afraid some Tech Nerd would hijack my computer with a virus. Next time I’m on 75 in Atlanta, I’ll just flip a quarter out the window.
Golden Sombreros (0-4) for the GTU seniors! a special Golden Sombrero for Coach Fish Fry! Next year, he can go for the Platinum Sombrero! He and Chan Gailey will have a lot to talk about (like, “Chan, why didnt you leave me more than 3 years worth of decent players?”)
GATA, you mustard bitches.
Walking downtown a covey of Tech “girls” were squatting and breathing hard in front of Horton Drug Store (no doubt searching for a buffet to refuel at).
“NERDS!” I yelled in my best Ogre voice.
Their biting intellect returned the volley with the oh so clever “Real mature”.
Ahh, I love Tech Hate Week.
After watching GTU’s defense, I now realize their school colors are “Navy & Hot Butter”.
That’s the funniest thing I’ve read all day.
How ’bout them DAWGS!!!
I’m going to show my lack of culture here, but would someone tell me why PJ is referred to as “Fish Fry” ? (I’m probably going to be embaressed by how simple and obvious it is, but …why “Fishfry”?)
Before the 2009 game he said they has bigger fish to fry (acccg). Ealey and king responded by running this state.
I thought he said that AFTER the 2009 game to rationalize the defeat.
A few years ago, he said he had “bigger fish to fry” than beating the ‘Dawgs!!!
I don’t see why everyone around here gives ol’ PJ such a hard time about that. Since they haven’t beaten us again, it’s obvious he was just telling the truth.
Because he has fishy lips and is kind of a redneck.
Just thought I’d throw that in for fun
I haven’t found a clip of Ogletree’s big tackles today, but this is close:
Senator, Senator….Tell our friend to respond to my Question. Please
Talk to me like I am 5 years old. Do we want ND to win or lose tonight and why?
Yes, having a family crisis. Will tell you “why” later.
If they lose, Georgia or Bama will have to play Florida…which means that Florida, while ranked lower than either, will have a lock on being in the MNC game. That’s crazy. I hate Notre Dame but I’m in a quandry here. If they win, ND will have to play Alabama or Georgia. I think Florida would be a more difficult foe than ND for Alabama or Georgia..
Florida can rest, as can ND, while Alabama and Georgia beat each other up. Also, it’s terribly hard to beat a team twice in one year.
So I guess I should be for ND.
On the other hand, it would absolutley piss off the assholes on espn gameday, the halftime report, etc….to see an all SEC game. Either way we can enjoy that part of it.
Vandy had a better offensive day against Wake Forest than ND did last week. ND is ripe for the picking…but it will mean having to beat Bama and Florida back to back.
Pull for the Domers. They’ll be easier for Georgia to beat and when the Dawgs beat’em it’ll really piss off the ESPN suits.
I will really enjoy seeing Granny Holtz bawl right on the air. Gawd, I hate that SOB.
Holtz made some insulting comments on the air tonight about the Dawgs, of course disguised as “compliments.” You know, how UGA has rebounded so well from the “thrashing” the Dawgs received from South Carolina, that sort of thing.
Lock the Lizards out of the BCSNC. Plus, there are people in this world who weren’t around the last time we played Notre Dame. That turned out just fine.
As the games have started to play out this evening, it has become more and more nauseating to think that Florida might play in the MNC game, so I think I am pulling for the micks….
Someone help out an old dumb dawg here. Doesn’t Yech know you have to put points on the board to win the game. It doesn’t matter what your time of possession is if you don’t have any points. It doesn’t matter how many yards you get if you don’t get any points. I thought you had to be smart to go there?
I just checke Facebook. I have some Tech fans as friends…(yes I know, but they are family…wife’s side) who are complaining that Rambo and Ogletree are dirty players. That CMR never disciplines his players. That Bobo is the worst OC in the country…..It’s really amazing..they are so f0rked-up that it’s hard to know which line to hit them with. I told them that they’re OCD about UGA, that they would trade PJ for CMR in a second, and that Bobo SHOULD be fired for only scoring on 6 out of the first 7 possesions against such a pitiful, pitiful, pitiful excuse for a defense.
SEC three …..ACC Zero with three out of four precincts reporting.
37 of the last 49 … Woof!
