What kills me is this false belief by GT fans that they are hamstrung in recruiting because they have self-imposed restrictions and can only recruit high character academic achievers.

Imagine how good they could be if they didn’t have to keep such high standards. Heck, they probably could have won the ACC in 2009, but their academic standards are just…oh wait.

I saw that on sting talk but spent more time reading the threads about (1) how we were violating them with sandpaper condoms (yep) and (2) how gt should drop the series because they cant be competitive.
Those losers are so pathetic. They were talking themselves into a frenzy all last week and most of them were resigned to getting beat and badly by us when they woke up this morning. Sorry excuse for a team, program and fanbase, but beating them never gets old

those pencil necks better quit sending Mathletes and start sending football players if they want to win (without cheating) more than once in 20 years. It’s certainly a world renowned engineering school, but the idea that UGA grads/students are a collective group of retards is as much of a joke as their belief that they can compete with us in football.

I asked a friend a couple of years ago if, based solely on the economic disparities between the two programs, there was any reason why we should ever lose to Yech again. He said, “I’m sure we’ll find a way,” but I don’t see it happening anytime soon.

It is supposedly a highly rigorous administration that is simultaneously not allowing them to compete in football but has also seen their football program go n NCAA probation twice in the last 7 years. Truly a paradox I say.

I’m 31… been a bulldawg since birth. But I honestly really started understanding football around 1999. I know they’ve beat us, but our worst year, that I “really” remember, we still be gt. We win Saturday and I’m taking out some savings for a trip to Miami. And it will be the best money I’ve ever spent. Born in 81 and man 2012 could be my best year alive!!

That was a pretty dirty play on Mike Thornton. Someone in our coaching box got really pissed. You clearly heard his outburst on TV. The announcers even apologized for it.

I went back and watched it, there was clearly a chop (low/high) against our nose tackle. Can’t remember who was at nose, Geathers and Jenkins had both been pulled from the game. I’ll have to go back and check it again. In fact it looked as if they got away with a chop two plays in a row and CMR was livid on the sidelines.

Watched it again. Clear chop block on Thornton with 2:54 left in the game. And a few plays later, at 2:12 left Mark saw something else and came out on the field pleading his case with a ref, they called holding on the next play.

The level of amateurism on Sting Talk is laughable. It reminds me of the high school football vent. One thread is asking for donations. I would donate to keep Sting Talk alive but I’m afraid some Tech Nerd would hijack my computer with a virus. Next time I’m on 75 in Atlanta, I’ll just flip a quarter out the window.

If they lose, Georgia or Bama will have to play Florida…which means that Florida, while ranked lower than either, will have a lock on being in the MNC game. That’s crazy. I hate Notre Dame but I’m in a quandry here. If they win, ND will have to play Alabama or Georgia. I think Florida would be a more difficult foe than ND for Alabama or Georgia..
Florida can rest, as can ND, while Alabama and Georgia beat each other up. Also, it’s terribly hard to beat a team twice in one year.
So I guess I should be for ND.
On the other hand, it would absolutley piss off the assholes on espn gameday, the halftime report, etc….to see an all SEC game. Either way we can enjoy that part of it.
Vandy had a better offensive day against Wake Forest than ND did last week. ND is ripe for the picking…but it will mean having to beat Bama and Florida back to back.

It doesn’t matter how many yards you get if you don’t get any points. I thought you had to be smart to go there?

I just checke Facebook. I have some Tech fans as friends…(yes I know, but they are family…wife’s side) who are complaining that Rambo and Ogletree are dirty players. That CMR never disciplines his players. That Bobo is the worst OC in the country…..It’s really amazing..they are so f0rked-up that it’s hard to know which line to hit them with. I told them that they’re OCD about UGA, that they would trade PJ for CMR in a second, and that Bobo SHOULD be fired for only scoring on 6 out of the first 7 possesions against such a pitiful, pitiful, pitiful excuse for a defense.
