    When is F-bum ever going to admit he was wrong about Mark Richt? He does Saban’s bidding (and negative recruiting) through his show. He claims to be the most powerful media member in the SEC. That’s ridiculous.

      Showing my ignorance here as I do not customarily listen to Finebaum’s show but what has he said about Mark Richt that was wrong?

        Season before last he said stick a fork in Richt; he’s done. Kept it up through several shows when to troll for calls.

        Be glad you don’t listen to him.

        I travel to Alabama twice a week for school and am convinced everyone who listens to him loses x number of IQ points per minute listened. You would feel stupider for the experience.

        Remember Mizzou’s Sheldon Richardson’s infamous UGA plays Old Man Football. After that game, Richardson reportedly, you’ll recall, went up to CMR after the game and apologized to him. That next Monday on Finebaum’s show, he mentioned the apology by Richardson to CMR and said “if it had been me (Finebaum), I wouldn’t have apologized, I would’ve punched Coach Richt in the mouth”.

        That’s the kind of jerk he is–big talker when he’s behind a microphone. I mean what he said was completely uncalled for and irrelevant but he had to say something negative about CMR. I never heard anyone call in to agree or laugh about it with him or anything after he made the statement on air. Those kinds of statements, imo, hurt him, with his audience, rather than encourage callers. Even Bama fans or any other fan would say, I think: “what was that all about…what a dip$hit”. On second thought, maybe I give other fans too much credit.

      I listen to the show often … Keep in mind Paul’s schtick is to insight commentary from his crazy callers. Anything that can increase the number of crazy callers increases ratings. The fact that he’s been cool to Mark Richt talk lately means there’s no opportunity for stoking the fire.

    Never heard of Finebaum. Who in the hell is he? Some guys live in the dirt and weeds. He must be one. Probably saw him last night when I wiped my boots coming in from the fields.

    Finebaum was Petrino’s 4th or 5th radio show spewing his rehearsed lines. Finebaum gigged Richt to get more Georgia callers on sat. radio. It did not work. Georgia folks just don’t call radio shows like Bammers and Barners do.
