The tricky part is figuring out between the recruits he’s running out on from dinner at his old school and the recruits he’s running off from his new school who you is, exactly.

And to think I felt sorry for him because of his treatment at Auburn.
Either this is being blown way out of proportion, or Tubberville is an ass.
Dr. Phil (sorry) has a saying..”the best indicator of future behavior is past behavior”. TT seems to be building quite a data base as rude and inconsiderate. Too bad, because the guy’s a pretty good at coaching the game.
Tubs better hope there are a lot of 4 and 5 star recruits who dont read the paper, dont surf the internets, and who love chili, because that’s about the only way he’s going to get any of them to Cincinnati. The guy sounds like a sociopath, or maybe Lou Holtz without the stale jokes, the weathered hide, and the lisp.
it occurs to me those last two things could actually be the same thing. Just sayin’….
Either way, your first post last sentence pretty well hits the mark. “Jeykll and Hyde” syndrome might explain it. That happens many times when us old farts start to lose it. Sounds like Tubby is burning the desert (not dessert).
My father, who passed away in March, always called him “Turdville.” He was one of the only two SEC coaches Pop had a nickname for. (The other was Spurrier, whose nickname was “Dickhead.”)
“He had some good pointers,” Smart said about Saban’s advice on dealing with the quarterback battle. “But I’ll keep that between he and I. I’m always looking for good advice especially dealing with the quarterback situation.” — Dawgs247, 5/16/18
