Did Emmert learn enough from his mentor to survive his current controversy?

Excellent question! Recent events show that in terms of survivability and moving on up, ruby red slippers work much better than magic pants.

It wont amaze me to someday find out that Emmert’s eventual release by the NCAA was orchestrated by the Machiavellian hand of his successor, Mike Adams, who will “reluctantly accept the challenge of restoring public confidience in this great institution.” Then he’ll hire his wife and throw a big party for his son on the NCAA’s dime.
