“... Shoot, why does anybody who’s ever won something do it again? Because it’s cool. So, let’s go do it again. Let’s see if we’ve got what it takes.” -- Stetson Bennett, The Athletic, 3/22/22
Conley’s got a solid future. Someone had to pick up the slack when Marlon went down, and Conley seized the moment. He reminds me of TK so much in the way he plays, and this was the first time I’ve really seen him showcase his speed. Kid’s sneaky.

“Sneaky. So is Kenarious Gates.” – Cornhuskers safety

Yeah, that’s the exciting part of the play that let Conley run amuck. Gates didn’t just block him, but cleaned his Cornhusker plow. Aaron, Line, Receiver play was perfect to make that play go the way Bobo taught them.

Watching that again and again, it’s a “quick hitter” that worked to perfection. Conley just burns it…and never lets up with his pull away.
I love it.

Agreed. I love to see Keith Marshall break it, but he does have a tendency to put on the afterburners pretty quickly…granted, he has the luxury of being able to do that, but still, I like seeing a guy book it full speed the whole way.

So much went perfect on that play … Theus ties up the DE and then redirect the OLB out of the passing lane … Artie takes the nickle DB out allowing Conley to run to the middle where Gates blows up the safety
We were in the endzone that Conley ran towards and it was as if he was running the 50 at a track meet … one of the commenters over at SB said he looked like Usain Bolt … Would put this play just below Mitchell’s TD in the Cocktail Party from an excitement standpoint & prob the best play of the year from an execution standpoint

Great play! But my favorite was Jarvis Jones knocking the ball loose from Reed at the goalline at the WLOCP to seal the victory! Priceless! Just my two cents.

My favorite was Shawn Williams laying a devastating sideline hit on fu receiver. Maybe patton will recover by this year’s game.

Came to post this. That was a play that would’ve went the other way 5 years ago. It cemented our second consecutive win over Florida. I could just feel the curse of the blitz passing from Georgia to Florida and Will Muschamp saying, “Aw man!”

Willing to bet “aw man” is not in Boom’s vocabulary. If TV mikes can catch that phrase it would get more YouTube hits than his usual potty mouth exclamations, similar to “man bites dog” stories.
