If Todd Gurley’s starting to scare me, what’s he gonna do to opposing defenses?

If this doesn’t qualify as Dawg porn, I don’t know what does.

Richt and offensive coordinator Mike Bobo have remarked that they thought Todd Gurley looked slimmer this spring. He’s not.

The tailback said he’s actually up to 234 pounds. “I feel good,” he said. “I think it’s just from all the running we’ve been doing and lifting and mat drills and then just stretching. I just feel so much better. The best I’ve ever felt.”

Good Lord – he’s gained weight, but his coaches think he looks trimmer?  Hoo, boy.

If Gurley stays healthy the entire season he will lead the SEC in rushing and be in consideration for the Heisman.

He’s been listed at 218 since he arrived in Athens. We all knew that was BS. I honestly can’t think of a better RB in the nation heading into 2013.

I love Gurley as much as any on here but caution about the expectations being so high. Things are never as dark, or bright, as most think. Just too much time between now and December to feel giddy. But you can make a helluva case for optimism, Mr. Gurley seems to posess the talent, athleticsm, and character to be that rare athlete you can depend on for three great years. Very impressive if he has added that much weight and can maintain the speed. OK offenisve line, your time to step it up and allow us to fully utilize this offense’s full potential.

Gurley was 218 last year? Jesus, he looked 225 easy.

I continue to be impressed with Tereshinski’s S&C program; we’ve got several guys who seem to turn themselves into beasts.

The potential in this year’s offense is unbelievable; if Gurley is even stronger than last year, he will pound defenses into exhaustion. Then Marshall’s speed will absolutely kill them.

Ah, the spring after a good year with potential ahead for another one. Almost every player looks like a potential All America and the road to the title seems paved in gold. Love live spring.
