    Wow. I’m speechless. This might be the best idea college football has had in years.

    I mean- It never was that hard to figure out. But by gosh, we sure did need our ACC and mid-major teams in the most important games of the year.

      Yep. Now they can vote that each major conference will be represented and that leaves only the SEC Champion as representative in the 4 teams.

      Or; to make the tweeted statement viable, we would have to go to 8 teams. Okey doke.

    I am really surprised that everyone else went a long with this. They have to know that they are going to be putting 2-3 teams in these games each season.

    I am guessing that there is not much of a financial reward for the teams playing in the games and that all revenue is split between the conferences or something like that…why would they create a model of funneling tv dollars to the SEC? Unless it was the only way that TV would go along with it.

    Why not invite sec #3 team to play for acc title and # 4 to play for big 10 championship.. they aren’t busy the weekend of conference championship games .

    If we think the people who benefit from TV money are going to sit back and watch this whole thing become a regional event, we’re wrong. The left coast and NE and especially the Midwest markets are too big to let this happen. If it was Oregon and Washington St. every year, we’d get tired of it pretty fast. Either they believe the other conferences will figure it out and gain parity with the SEC, or they believe they can manipulate the thing into a cross regional matchup. My contention is still that you must remove all human input to the ratings or you’re going to have bias…we certainly saw it last year…(Notre Dame..give me a frickin’ break). They’ll do it every time.
    Computers can do it without prejudice or bias.

    The Rose will remainbeting Pac12 B1G except when it’s a Semi. The other bowls will the same tie in’s except the Orange will finally be free the Big Least. I’m betting the Peach and Orange will be fighting for SEC teams.
