I have an idea for Cock fans, just go ahead and burn down that entire worthless city they come from.

Given the temperature for a game I attended there, I’m kinda surprised that it hasn’t burst into flames all on its own.

Georgia didn’t spike because Bama’s defense was on its heels. It didn’t turn out to be the right decision because a Bama defender made a great play.

In terms of Big Stupid Decisions in that game, Saban’s complete botching of his timeouts at the end of the first half carries the day by tenfold.

Uh…DN…Who won that game? Saban’s clock management decisions at the end of the first half didn’t cost the Tide the game and don’t carry the day “by tenfold,” whatever you meant by that. I myself have agreed to just let the spike/non-spike issue pass to keep peace in the family as it was a decision made in the heat of the moment and might have worked. That said, it was a bad decision not to spike it and the way that game ended shows exactly why you DO spike it. Don’t argue that it was the right decision–it wasn’t. The only way people learn is if they know they screwed up. If they are constantly told that a screw-up wasn’t really a screw-up they’ll screw it up again the next time. Just sayin.’

If Spurrier hadn’t spent so much time volunteering to pose for photo-shops with diminutive-Kenny Chesney and leaning on a blonde, the little bro of Big Game Bob would not have out-recruited him for a QB. Ron Morris still looks for answers on a place to eat lunch in beautiful downtown Columbia. In other recruiting news, ESPN’s finding that Georgia’s biggest problem with this year’s recruits is too much depth raises the question of who, other than departed Rodney of course, was actually recruiting for Georgia because Mark Richt can’t.

  4. Mayor of Dawgtown

Depth is NOT a problem–it’s a blessing. Plus, as to any reluctance a recruit may have about getting to play: “… Georgia has certainly shown a willingness to play younger players.”

  5. Sallee seems like a nice enough guy, but his piece on UGAs need for a zero-tolerance policy was perhaps the dumbest article I’ve ever read. Not even joking. I haven’t read something since, and this was right after he started at BR.

    • Barrett Sallee

Ha! This coming from the guy that once told me players partying at an apartment complex was a systemic problem.

” A chance to play for one of the best defensive minds in college football in Will Muschamp is another selling point to defensive prospects. ”
JMO, but I believe the jury is still out on that one.

There have always been rumors about Kenny Chesney & cocks…

    What Ole Miss can offer:

I don’t think we have any room at all to laugh at the Cocks. We just let the first concert ever at Sanford Stadium be Jason Aldean.

I like all but two “types” of music, mostly depends on my mood, time of the day, and the setting/occasion. There is really good, and bad, music in all genres, and it is all personal preference. Who really cares what label is assigned to the music played? Someone obviously liked it enough to fill Sanford, and the man is a Dawg on top of that. Why would we knock that?

Saw from David Ching that Bobo is pushing hard on Aaron Murray’s power over the summer to coach and carry out workouts……didn’t we just discuss one of the O player’s wt and mention that Murray is the leader of the summer Bobo was looking to for implementation? Don’t know about yall, but this is pretty exciting to me (not the fact that Ching picked up the cudgel from Bluto’s blog).

Think about it. The canine teaching class broadens on here and at the same time on the summer conditioning campus. Does any one realize that Bobo has turned over team summer training responsibility to a Coach-in-Waiting QB who, among other duties, can report back who has NC stars in their heads and who doesn’t, especially as it pertains to the OL? Get it? Murray chooses the O line he wants ahead of him performing for the NC. Working directly with O coaches while working out with the team. Think that won’t bond an O group together? There will be no islands in that group. Murray has paid the down payment (bruises and brain-addling hits) already for receiving this power in his last year.

Does anyone know of any QB given such a position to choose who blocks for him? Methinks we should reach into the pockets to pass steak-buying money to Aaron this season for O linemen rewards. He may end up buying for the backups as well. If this isn’t incentive for O linemen to perform well in summer conditioning, I don’t know what is.

Fact- No one has ever seen Kenny Chesney and Jeff Gordon in the same room at the same time, have they? Just sayin….
