I happen to think Driskel signing a contract with the Red Sox is a giant nothingburger, but if Gator Nation wants to get even slightly nervous about the news, I’m okay with that.

Even with the lack of reps this summer, I can’t see him losing the starting job. If he plays baseball all summer long, he’s probably going to be really tired along about October.
Our star QB of the late 90’s did the same thing. Maybe playing baseball will make Driskell throw 5 picks in a big game.
I wanted to type “+100” but I was at that game.
Well he sure as hell isn’t going to be starting in the NFL after playing at FU so why not take the money and run.
This fits a pattern. A bored Jeff goes to Popeyes. Proud of his food and wanting everyone to know about it, Jeff gets unwanted weighty advice from outside monitor. Because Jeff now convinced Brent moonlights for NSA, Jeff becomes 29th round draft choice
Aren’t the back-up QBs at FU kind of iffy? Hmmm…..
If you don’t count the new recruit. Hopefully their worries won’t be over until Jan. Will Grier, their signee this year was described by Trent Dilfer (after he placed 3rd among top 18 QBs) as,”He is immensely talented and gets stuff.”. Our guy (Jacob Parks) placed 8th. That will change once Bobo and Richt get hold of him.
Obviously quarterback coaching is as important as quarterback talent. The Gators’ coaches may be capable of developing quarterback talent but we haven’t seen it yet.
We lose a lot of Georgia high school players to out-of-state schools. I feel it appropriate that we take a minute to realize how fortunate we are to have snatched Aaron Murray from the state of Florida.
Amen. Thanks Corch!
Yeah, but Aaron wasn’t the top 1% of the top 1%. Dontcha know.
Let’s hope one or two of his linemen feel as disinterested from time to time.
Let’s pray that two or more of his lineman feel disinterested as time goes on.
Maybe he’ll actually be good at baseball…
