Hey, Shaq? Screw you.
“We remember the Sugar Bowl, I think it my junior year of high school, we let Alabama beat us twice,” Brinson said of a team that also lost to the Crimson Tide in the SEC Championship game. “We’re not letting Alabama beat us twice. In the Sugar Bowl in 2018, they… thought they should have been in the playoffs and lost to Texas.” -- AB-H, 12/27/23
Good, hopefully all the focus this week in Baton Rouge is Alabama, Alabama, Alabama and no one is talking about us.

If shaq or some other LSU hack is the celebrity guest this week, then Gameday should never come back to Athens.

Actually, I can see Fowler giving Shaq a hard time for looking past the Georgia game.

LSU looks better than Bama to me…more balanced…course they were not playing A&M…I hope we did not really get serious bout running the football against the Green…How can you run it so well against SC, then can’t run it a lick against North Texas?
Mett looks like a different player, LSU like a different team than any they have had since Miles got there.
We are damn sure gonna get our chitlins checked…by Saturday night I guess we will know something definitive about this football team.
And folks, Florida is a whole lot better than a lot of people seem to think they are. Yes, I know Tennesse is a dumpster fire on both sides of the ball, but to lose Driskell that early and still dominate…well I guess I will worry about the Gayters later.

^^^ Yes, we need to worry about LSU. When they were paying attention last night, they were stellar. Their Oline and front defensive front 7 are impressive. We will have our hands full. They are certainly better than USCe.

LSU better be prepared to play a sixty minute game this week.

Our relative inability to run the ball against North Texas doesn’t reallly bother me. When a team is that outmatched, sometimes they just commit to stacking the box most of the game, because if your fans travel alll that way for the 975K payout, at least you want the ass-whipping to include things like 98 yard TD passes. No one likes to watch a team et run on for 8 and 9 yareds at a time all game. LSU, like SC, will have to play a more balanced approach on Defense, because they’ll want to win, not just lose in an exciting way.

I felt like North Texas picked their poison and lived with it. I can totally understand. I would rather load the box and stop the run than vice versa. It probably could have gotten ugly a lot earlier if they hadn’t done that.

I got to go with Scorpio…. that is a damn good looking LUS team. For years LUS’s problem has been qb’s who could throw 70 yards but didn’t know where and when to throw it.Our 2nd string QB looked pretty damned good to me. LUS has addressed their weakness and are a better team for it. I’ll be there and screamin for them dawgs but dem college boys from LSU ain’t as dumb when they are quarterbacked by a Georgia boy.(apologies to Randy Newman )

I hope the humidity is low. UGA OLine was gassed yesterday after a couple of hurry up plays. North Texas best tackling team I have seen.

They were extremely good at tackling….best I’ve seen in some time…

Agree. I was really impressed. Even in the open field – they didn’t get juked and their angles were good as well.

Unfortunately, the best tackling team I saw yesterday was Florida.

I thought Auburn put up a pretty good fight yesterday. LSU looks solid but we can win if we bring our a game.
