As nice as this piece on Georgia’s receivers is – and I love this Bobo quote: “We kept talking at halftime saying, ‘Hey, your number is gonna be called, pick up the phone and answer it,’ and I thought the guys did…” – would it have killed somebody to mention Coach Ball?

But he was a running back! He can’t coach receivers!

Ball may be our best position coach. He’s stellar.

Coach Ball seriously doesn’t have a weak link on his unit from what I’ve seen. That guy is doing something majorly right.

Ball has really matured as a coach. I think its best to keep his name quiet, or somebody will hire him away.

I remind people of this all the time…Man, those were some dark days for the receiving corps. They couldn’t catch the clap…

Can he coach defensive backs? 😉

He left out a minor pass play, too. IIRC, it went for 98 yards.

If Bobo leaves, does Ball get a shot at OC ?

Senator, he definitely should get mentioned, but I think there are 2 reasons he didn’t: Aschoff is a crappy reporter and Ball is notoriously reclusive toward the media. I remember G. Estes or S. Emerson making a pretty big deal out of the fact that he did talk to the media a few weeks back. He almost always avoids reporters.
