Neither rain, nor sleet, nor even Level III violations…

Georgia is forced to self-report NCAA violations based in part on the Post Office delivering mail more efficiently than the recruiting staff anticipated.

  1. “Georgia…will not provide recruiting materials to those 12 recruits for 60 days.”

Plot twist… those twelve players were all defensive backs, and thus the Post Office is keeping UGA from recruiting an area of need. *shakes fist angrily at nothing in particular* This is clearly a conspiracy. One day, we’ll find out that Urban Meyer’s son works at USPS and was behind this all along.

Somewhere in Alabama Satan er Saban smiles knowingly at yet another self reported crime by the goody two shoes at UGA. Heck he thinks besting these guys is just too damn easy what with them shooting themselves in the foot every chance they get. It’s nice that all I have to worry about is LSU and A&M, the rest are just so much cannon fodder. Has no one ever heard the saying “Good guys finish last”. There is a reason it’s an old saying.

So they got in trouble by underestimating the efficiency of the postal service, huh? The snark is strong with this one.

It’s gotten so bad even our recruiting staff is mailing it in. 😉

A new low in ticky-tacky NCAA rules and enforcement. The stuff arrived a day early? Gimme a break!

There is no excuse for this sort of violation. I think we should self impose a suspension on Malcolm Mitchell, Keith Marshall, and Scott-Wesley for the rest of 2013. That will teach those non-coaching bastards

I’ve met Coach Jones a couple of times as my son has been to a copule of UGA football camps, and was a recruit to the UGA-South Carolina game. He treated us like kings, and made our whole family seem special. He went above and beyond the call of duty while we were there. This is about the most CHICKENSHIT thing I have ever seen from the NCAA.

Whatever Jones is doing, I say keep it up and give him more support. He’s doing a terrific job. Give him 5 days vacation in St. Maarten & call it a suspension if you want. When he returns, double his pay! I don’t want to see this guy with a competitor.

“Spike” and “Jones” in the same post. He personally kept mediocre UGA teams in the hunt.

      Brings back great memories.
