Musical palate cleanser: baby take a chance on me.

Doom and gloom when it comes to Georgia’s secondary?  Let Mick and the boys tell you something about Doom And Gloom.

I think it’s time we quit focusing on how old the Stones are, and simply marvel at what a miracle of modern science it is that Keef is still alive.

^ this. We caught a Dylan concert at the Family Circle Stadium in Charleston this year. Took my youngest son (21) and hooked up with his uncle in Summerville. Son was a bit underwhelmed. I think he was looking for the Dylan that did Blood on the Tracks, since he was forced to listen to it so many times in route to his soccer games. He commented that “BD sounded like Tom Waits after a carton of Camels.” But he was glad he got to see the legend. Bob does it for Bob. And most kids my son’s age have no clue who Tom Waits is… or was. “Glory Days.”

” Wine stained glasses cause clouded minds and fools to pantomime, things that once were dear to them but grown distant with time.
Humanity reeks of half filled dreams … adventures too hard to find.
When you’re looking in your looking glass, be sure you have the time.”
