I know it’s not Thanksgiving yet…

but can I just say that I’m extremely grateful I won’t have to watch Georgia’s secondary attempt to cover Mike Evans this year?

    I’m sure our resident defensive guru, Todd Grantham, would have an elaborate, multipronged plan of attack that would yield only 25 catches for 300 yards and 6 TDs.

    As I’ve said before, the silver lining to our collapse is that the odds of us facing Oregon or Baylor in a bowl game are pretty much astronomical at this point. If we had somehow continued to slide by week in and week out and then gotten our MNC game only to have our defense completely spread eagled by those schools in the championship game it would have been the worst of all outcomes to the season.

    When is A&M on our schedule. Not sure numbers mean that much except if you are on the D staff at Oregon, then you get your clip board all bent up. But I’ll give the Dawgs some credit, they did a fair job against LSU’s two receivers and they will play in the NFL and held Vandy’s Matthews in check. Oregon is all upset because the bCS game would be Bama & FSU.

    I will be thankful when we break the bad habit of willingly giving away our built-in advantages in recruting and financial support by not managing our numbers, by not applying reasonable discipline principles, and by not paying proper attention to the special teams component of the game.

      Note the points of contact, too. Drew’s forearm to QB’s chest. No substantial contact to head or neck of Vandy QB. This call would be a joke if not such a serious consequence. Where is the conference office on this BS?
