COMMENTS:

  • Can I just say it’s impressive that Georgia will wind up facing five teams on that list in the regular season?
  • Ohio State has played one.  And won’t likely see any more.
  • No Notre Dame bias here.
  • Obviously, some of y’all disagree with my assessment of Auburn and LSU.
  • UCF gets more votes (okay, vote) than Louisville?  Interesting.
  • By conference affiliation:  SEC – 7; Big 12 – 3; Pac 12 – 3; ACC – 3; Big Ten – 3; MWC – 1; AAC – 1; MAC – 1.

I’m not a believer in Auburn. They beat an A&M team with the worst defense in the conference by 3 points, and they beat a mediocre Ole Miss team. None of their other wins stand out. They’ve had a very fortunate schedule this season.

Dude….you don’t understand, the WWL is working up to calling Awbun a legitimate threat to Bama in the Arn Bowl…sells toilet paper and Viagra, don’t cha know?

I think Awbun is good, offense is creative, defense playing stout. I am interested to see how they do against the crumbling Vols. Malzahn sure as hell knows what to do with Tre Mason. Good O line, too.

But you do have a point.

Agree completely. Think Bama will blow them out.

I was stumbling around the tube yesterday, waiting for the replay to start, found several discussions about why THEOhioState would not make it to the big game with Bama…..

Now I understand why The Genius wanted the TOSU job…lots of easy wins over mediocre competition without having to play….ah, you know, that guy.

Ohio State will likely play Michigan State in Indianapolis on December 7.

I think LSU beats Bama this weekend and Oregon and FSU win out and play in BCS. Just a hunch. Course my record in the pool would tell you to run the other way!

Puffy, my man…suggest you re-jigger your formula for computing Bama.

Who’ve they played? They barely beat TAMU on the road, and shut out Ole Miss at home because Freeze got addicted to going for it on 4th down and kept failing. They’ve had by far the easiest schedule in the SEC, with exactly one daunting road game.
LSU had Mett looking good against them last year, before Mett got better overall.

Why do we have to play Auburn on the Plains two years in a row? And do they have to play us “Tween the Hedges two years in a row?

  7. Saw a tweet yesterday that said Ohio State has not played top 10 team in the regular season since Sept of 2009. Crazy we will play 4 this year. 5 if you count Mizzou.

I sure as HELL count Mizzou…would love to see them play TOSU somewhere. That’s the kind of schedule that DaGenius likes to play.
And look….there is no Saban on that list, either.

Why do so many people think Auburn is better than LSU? Is it solely their record? Yes, Auburn beat Ole Miss and LSU didn’t (both games were tight), but Auburn’s loss was by two touchdowns to LSU.

The higher Auburn rises before Georgia topples them, the better.

Yep. Last time UGA played stupid and lost to Vandy, they had to play at then-#5 Auburn.
      Was a pretty good Saturday.

Dare say 11 of those teams in top 12 would beat Mizzou. If LSU’s O line really shows up and the running game gets in gear…Tide could have a hard time keeping tigers out of end zone. Things in the SEC West could get interesting now.
