Saban does Dooley.

Nick Saban calls Mississippi State, Alabama’s opponent this week, “probably the best 4-5 team in the country.”

Nick’s not as polished as Ol’ Vince, though.  Dooley would have dispensed with the “probably” and substituted the more genteel, yet ambiguous “finest” for “best”.  Still, it ain’t exactly bulletin board material.

Nick doesn’t have time for hyperbole

Nobody does Vince like Vince….I know I have mentioned this before, but the quip Ray Graves made after Bill Stanfill ruined his day (and Spurrier’s) is something for all po-mouthers to shoot for.
Dooley had been worrying for a week that Stanfill’s neck injury was going to ruin Erk’s defense against the Gators.

Suffice to say Stanfill had a decent day. Spurrier had a very bad day.

    Said Graves:

“If they ever get that Stanfill boy well, he’s gonna be a great player”
