You know who has never won a big game?

I was gonna go down that path, tongue planted firmly in cheek, but I see the AJ-C already beat me to the punch.

Except they’re being serious.  Loosen up, guys!

After winning on Saturday he still won’t have won a big game. Tech is only a big game if you lose it. My guess is that Mason plays well but Gurley, Green and Douglas remind Tech that UGA runs this state.

Mason has Gurley. Tech does not. And UGA will lay a beatdown on those pencil necks for Aaron Murray.

But when Murray was undefeated against Tech, they said that wasn’t a big game becuase they weren’t ranked or what not. Now, it is a big game. The whole metric of what is or isn’t a “big” game is so stupid.

It’s confusing. Why can’t stick with the English system of weights and measures like a bushel. I think this metric stuff plays right into the hands of the slide-rulers. We should “definitely ignore anything Nerd related because they are owning it.” The last thing we want is for them to accessorize like Stanford for their pre-fight weigh-in photo op (h/t lostangeles)

I liked the way Pacquiao and Rios “accessorized” with 8 huge knockers in their pre-fight weigh-in.

        Now back to hating Tech.

    • It really is and always has been. Hell, they are ALL big games.

It’s really a quite simple formula. Which ever degrades UGA is the one the AJC will use. They’ll probably say, “Tech came in second and Georgia came in next to last”.

While peeing outside and on your property is a wonderful expression of freedom, peeing on a techster neighbor’s property should earn an environmental award for the water you are saving.

When we win, you can call it sharing Water of Champions. Lord knows, he’ll never get any on his lawn otherwise.

  5. Even when Tech is ranked and on it’s way to a soon-to-be vacated ACC Championship… not a big game after Georgia beats them.

I think it is obvious that Richt is playing favorites with Hutson Mason. We all know Faton Bauta played the better game on Saturday.

The AJC has not won, nor played in, a big game since Jim Minter was da boss…but they want me to accept their definition of “Big Game”…hell they could be talking about hippopotami for all I know.

C’mon Dawgs stick fity up they butts….for Aaron…and me.

Let’s not dwell on the offense on Saturday…they’re very important but the defense is moreso. We don’t want to match Tech with points..we want to prevent their scoring while “laying fifty on them”. Our young mobile defense had better be getting a tutorial on triple options this week..our NT and ILBs are going to get a workout on dive plays and our edge defenders are going to have to show a huge amount of discipline on assignments…and our secondary with their reputation for wandering in the wilderness will be the target of Lee on many occasions. Be sharp Dawgs and GATA!!

Lets just play their game and teach all linemen to chop-block freely and with great abandon. That oughta get their hive buzzin’.

My guess is the GT QB (whoever he is this year) as they haven’t beaten a ranked team all yr. Just saying.

Hutson can’t beat worse than Aaron Murray in big games–Murray bear ranked teams like Neb, Vandy, Fla in 2012 & LSU/SC in 13′, nothing in 2010 or 2011.

How bout Hutson whooping the great A Murray’s butt in ESPN’s QBR for the 2nd game in a row? As a matter of fact, pretty sure Hutson’s 94 qbr was top 10 in the nation. Look s a whole lot better than A Murray so far so good.

And can’t be worse in win % than A Murray, really, what won 20% vs. teams that finished in the top 25? God, he’s pathetic.

What do you mean it’s not a big game!? These guys are 3rd place Coastal Division ACC champions! It doesn’t get much bigger than that.
