From Aaron Murray’s presser today:
Murray (c)laims he still very much part of the Bulldogs’ team. He plans to be on the sideline with the team for the TaxSlayer.com Gator Bowl on New Year’s Day in Jacksonville and actually plans on sitting in on the quarterback meetings and helping game plan for Nebraska “as much as Coach Bobo will let me.”
He plans on being ready for Georgia’s Pro Day in April. I wouldn’t put it past him.

Damn Good Dawg! I think he will recover faster than most people think. If you recall he broke his leg his senior year of high school and returned to lead his team to a state championship. Hope to see him on sundays or on the sidelines as a coach.

He had a labrum tear in his right shoulder his sophomore year and was unbelievable in summer 7 on 7’s and never looked back…the boy is a quick healer and rehab…I will say that I never thought that he’d make it back following the broken leg, but he never let it atrophy and kept working out and the rest as they say is history…amazing kid…

Murray is everything good about collegiate athletics. He’s my favorite Dawg of all time. Sucks his career went like it did, but such is life.

ha right. I’ve never, at any point in time, said anything negative about a particular player here or elsewhere.
Some of you just can’t handle the fact that people view things differently from you and to compensate you have to pretend like we make ridiculous statements so that you can feel better. After all, it’s easy to ignore someone that says something like what’s above, isn’t it? It’s much more difficult when that person slaps you across the face with cold hard facts and logical arguments.

A team with 85 Herschels? Good luck with that! I have been watching CFB and going to games for over 50 years and have seen only one. Guys like Herschel and Bo Jackson come one to the box and maybe once a decade if you are lucky.

You make me sick with your apologist attitude. If Blake Sailors worked harder and had an indoor practice facility CMR would have 4 rings by now with him at running back and safety. But people like you just accept mediocrity and let him be slow and weak. I’d have a whole team of #34’s out there with a Thomas Davis or two thrown in for good measure. Fact.
In fact, if I was king, Ben Jones woulda played QB and snapped the ball to himself, then opted to run or pass. I’d call it the Big Mac option, and I’d put McGarrity in uga’s cage on the sideline and throw dog treats at him. But for people like you that would totally happen.

If we had a real recruiting staff we would find those kids. All two stars that everyone else missed and then coach em up. Good character kids too. But nobody demands such things so our lazy coaches just recruit the stupid four and five star kids and not the diamond in the rough Herschals that are so obviously out there but being missed.

I usually do not buy the Media Guide : But, I am looking forward to the 2014 Media Guide. I will spend a lot of time reviewing all of the records AM set.
I will also be checking out how close we came to being 12 & 0.
Ten & Two Would have been enough to bring everything home to Athens.

When Pat Sullivan won the Heisman as a senior at Auburn, he had never won a conference championship and most of the big games he played in, including Bama the week after the trophy announcement.
It is, frankly, an incomprehensible blunder that you were not promoted for the award. Somebody ought to find something else to do, today.
To us, your Dawg family, you represent all that is good and righteous about college football. You have led our team with class and dignity, unlike some of the participants in the Heisman conversation.
And what is more, Aaron, you are a man, my son.
