Giving Todd Grantham a five-year guaranteed contract that pays him $1 million a year says a lot more, my man.

UPDATE: By the way, note that Grantham’s making a change for himself at position coach.

UPDATE #2: Stay classy, coach.

UPDATE #3: Sometimes this shit just writes itself.

To answer the original statement, yes it does say a lot about your program.

Third and Grantham can now be beaten on a 99 yard TD pass indoors too!

Just safeties? That’s unusual… What about the corners? And I thought his experience was mostly with DL and LBs?

Grantham coaching safeties? Snort. I thought he was a linebacker guru.

I’m guessing the Louisville AD didn’t watch Auburn’s last offensive play against Georgia.

Maybe he is hiring his brother to be the towel boy.

The last year we are showing a tie on our record is 1985 (Dooley). We tied Vandy in the regular season and Arizona in the Sun bowl to finish the season 7-3-2.

uh…1994 Auburn on the Plains. Snapped a 20 game winning streak. TD actually looked like TD.

I bet you’ve got a lot of nice ties, Ty. Would you like to tie me up with some of your ties, Ty?

Grantham tweeted about how great their S&C staff is at Louisville and then followed it up with a tweet about their indoor practice facility. Not-so-subtle digs at Georgia for sure.

I don’t interpret it that way. I haven’t heard criticism about S&C at UGA since Richt made changes to address it. And coaches all over claim IPFs are good for recruiting. I view it like he’s just trying to sell Louisville.

Our S&C is not on par with our peers’.
Most schools have much larger S&C staffs and a much more modern approach. If we has Stanford’s S&C staff, for example, we probably wouldn’t have had so many injuries last year.

And we would be smarter.

Do they still break workouts in to upper-body days vs lower body days? Surely not.

In regards to update #2, does anyone actually subscribe to ‘The Telegraph?’ I can’t get in there before that pop up shows and then redirects me to some inane article.
Oh, and screw you Grantham. Should tweet him back a pick of the prayer at Jordan Hare. That would shut him up.

I really don’t think he was taking a shot at Georgia, just trying to pump up Louisville’s facilities; of course, no one seriously believes that those are better than what’s in Athens.

Meh. It’s what the fans want to hear from their million dollar coach. Doesn’t win you any games.

To recycle Petrino’s speaks volumes about who Louisville, too. But their men’s big 3 program have had solid success past 3 years. Nothing against TG, but he needs to get out a map and see what latitude Louisville is sitting at and the annual average weather there. When the Cards can have a stadium with annual seating like Sanford he can talk, ’til be quiet and be happy TG.

Glad he is there problem now…
Those are some nice looking facilities BTW.

“what appeals to me most is being able to team up with Coach Petrino and what he does” Wait until Coach Bob bends him over that Harley seat….not wearing a helmet will be the least of his concerns. Gotta do something to make up for what they are overpaying him.
