There are coincidences, and there are ‘coincidences’. I’m going with the latter…
I wrote my concerns about a one year DC having the contacts and street cred in an earlier post. We are in some scary sh*t here. His ability to get high quality assistants can make or break our D. Let’s hope the offensive guys can make some suggestions.
Coaching is a small community. I think they’ll be okay, but they need to have these hires wrapped up shortly (Sunday at the latest).
Sure, it’s been a long time since there was an opportunity to replace the defensive staff in its entirety but I don’t doubt for a minute that Jeremy can find qualified coaches. He’s got it covered. After all, he didn’t just fall off the asparagus truck

Nitty Gritty Dirt Band…be leavin at the break of dawn…before my boots get too old. They are gone. Good. Turn the page and close the book. Open a new one. Phoenix Rising. Wonder what those guys in Gainesvile, Knoxville, Columbia 2xs, and that Grand Ole Oprey Ville are thinking this winter, spring practice, and fall.
And Dooley hired a bald-headed DC back then too. Hmmmmm.
