“I just think that people like Georgia football. I mean, why, when you have an opportunity, on this nice spring day to come to Athens, I know I would be dying to come if I lived anywhere in the state or in a five-hour radius. Get out of the house, get the kids out of the house, come see who the new faces are. I think some of it’s recruiting but I think people enjoy football in Georgia and want to come watch it. I’m glad they do because the impact it has on recruiting, I can’t tell you how many recruits are out there going, oh my gosh, I can’t believe it, I can’t get over it. It’s the norm here. It’s the way it should be…” — Kirby Smart, AJ-C, 4/21/18
Been on the sidelines for too many games in my life already. I’ll pass.

Instructions say you have to dress appropriately so I guess that rules out the Reggie Ball jersey.

Why wouldn’t Ball be welcomed? He was one of our best players, instrumental in at least 2 wins against our in state rival.

Yes. We retired that jersey years ago.

Those passes are so that you can experience the stadium itself and not the thing being done there. And certainly not the people doing it. They are simply artifacts of the experience and in no way to be considered part of the experience.

If I get on the sidelines, it’s only a matter of time before I’d win the starting QB job
