Gettin’ the band back together

Numerous reports popping up that Josh Harvey-Clemons is headed to Louisville.

I wonder if he can play quarterba… never mind.

UPDATE:  This move’s got Woodrow’s blessing.

“He wants to stick with Coach Grantham and his defensive system,” Woodrow Clemons, the player’s grandfather, told “That Star position that he’s able to play safety and outside linebacker and cover the back coming out or able to rush the quarterback. We kind of like that.”

  1. Gotta admit I’m surprised. At least surprised he’s going to an FBS school. I mean if you told me he was gonna transfer to an FBS school, Louisville probably would have been my first guess, but I really figured he’d go FCS so he wouldn’t have to sit out a year.

We shall see if he can stay in school long enough to play for them.

Jeebus. We’ll probably end up playing them in a Bowl.

He’s going to Louisville…of course he is.

Woodrow thinks its good…of course he does.

At least he is not going to the University of Second Chances.

They did just give a shady coach a second chance, so maybe they will be the second University of Second Chances.

He also likes second rate competition, smoking weed all day, and long walks on the beach.

  6. Rock and Roll Rebel

Perhaps there is good weed in Louisville as well.
    Good luck with that JHC.

Well, it’s not the Kentucky blue grass he’s interested in…

      Or is it?

of course there is. Don’t you watch Justified?????

Raylon is a bad man. Raylan taunts: “Didn’t I tell you you were going to wish I killed you?” Season 6 is the last season.

I’m just glad Darryl Crowe expired before his fake Southern accent killed me. He sounded like a wood chipper from Brooklyn gargling razor blades.

I’m gonna miss ol’ Raylan when he’s gone, but it’s an awesome show, and I’m sure the final season will be awesome, too.

no way Saban is gonna sign the release and let him go there….

“That Star position…We kind of like that…And smoking weed. We like that, too.”

Oh, what could have been. But, you can’t fix stupid, I’m told.

  10. Noonan

Genius. Sit out a year and play for the same shifty DC.

  11. heyberto

It’s Louisville. He’ll probably be their best player in History, running up stats against those stellar ACC opponents.

  12. Bright Idea

So Richt lost control of Louisville…twice!

What’s the chances of the D sucking so bad that Big Play Todd takes his dog and pony show to the pros stranding ganja man in Louisville?

You’d think cfb and the nfl would run out of people dumb enough to pay CTG the kind of bucks he’s getting.

Except for one memorable moment on The Plains last year, I liked JHCs abilities as a football player. I thought he was a total fool when it came to life decisions and being selfish/immature, hope he gets his act together and takes advantage of his opportunity. Not many people get that many chances in life. I wish him well, it doesn’t bother me where he chose to go.

    • 81Dog

Agreed, Mac. I don’t beat the kid any ill will. He’s a pot smoking dumb ass, not a violent felon. It’s a shame he’s on the verge of letting the opportunities his obvious athletic skills can bring him go up in smoke (see what I did there?), but there’s no reason to wish him any ill. His inability to stay away from weed is no longer a UGA problem, but I’d be happy to see him get his head out of his colon and succeed in the next phase of his life.

Well put. Waste of talent but no thug – not unlike Crowell. Washouts at Auburn, UF and UT usually have assaulted someone or engaged in gunplay.

Who has 2 thumbs and called it? This guy.

Didn’t Willie Williams wind up at Louisville, too? Coincidence?
