Gruden, Gruden, Gruden

Those that can, coach.  Those that choose not to, promote.

Needless to say, I approve.

Great words from Coach Gruden. Hope we leverage these skills in preparing our defense this summer.

This is something you CAN’T do at Georgia Tech.

Great press! Too bad it took this long until a legitimate football guy made this observation. I guess it’s better late than never.

Now that the HC on a Hot Seat talk has quieted and Bobo’s detractors have come to terms with the Bobo haz an I-Pad meme. Who will be on the Eeyore Dawgs radar? Not Todd. Grantham has taken his talent to Louisville. Spring game: 941 yards offense and 11 touch downs. I million guaranteed. I think Will Friend better have a good season or grow thick skin. Just sayin’

I often wonder the same thing. Who will be the subject of our (sometimes unnecessary) ire? Special teams is several people. Prez Adams is gone. We don’t have Grantham to kick around anymore. Friend seems like the most logical choice, but someone (a coach, a staff member, or God forbid, a player) will say something that will inevitably be blown out of proportion and we’ll ride it all summer. It’s the Georgia way.

By the way, my boss told me today is “Bulldogs are Beautiful” Day. So there’s that.

I’m also seeing April 26th and 28th as Bulldogs Are Beautiful Day. So I guess it’s really more of a week-long celebration. As it should be. 🙂

It will probably be Coach T for this season. However, if Hutson struggles, then it will be revert to “Bobo lost his crayon”

If Mason struggles, unfortunately fans will be no kinder to him than they were to Joe Cox. Joe T. got slightly better treatment, but only because the CMR had Stafford was waiting in the wings for any excuse to put him in.

    • Doesn’t a “meme” imply that many on the internet use a phrase or reference, instead of just one guy?

Hope we find a similar “Gurley for Heisman” quote machine should he prove deserving.

UGA should long ago have been lobbying hard to put Gurley in the Heisman picture. He’s probably the best returning RB in the country, and a favorite of every play-by-play announcer who has seen him at full strength. Georgia players don’t always have to be the dark horse candidate; run him as the favorite.

Memes that replicate most effectively enjoy more success, and some may replicate effectively even when they prove to be detrimental to the welfare of their hosts.

…it’s getting someone downfield to catch the throw that’s the problem.
