Honestly, this is beginning to sound like a bad joke:
Florida State University officials will hear from two witnesses and the accuser in the Jameis Winston rape case as part of a school disciplinary hearing.
Florida State defensive back Ronald Darby and defensive lineman Chris Casher, both expected to be in the rotation for the Seminoles defense in 2014, could face discipline for possible violations of the school’s code of conduct. Baine P. Kerr, an attorney for the accuser, indicated to ESPN.com that Winston was expected to attend the hearing.
Jameis Winston’s attorney, Tim Jansen, told WCTV that the Seminoles quarterback was never notified or asked to attend Tuesday’s hearing.
I guess they figure he’s missed enough time from the baseball team already.
At this point, the FSU athletic department and school admin are either the dumbest people on the planet or they have an ace up their sleeve. My money is on dumb.

The stench from Tallahassee is beginning to be noticed.
I can only imagine how happy CJP is to be out of that stink-pot and in Athens.
CMR’s unstated philosophy to “Nip trouble in the bud” is refreshing.

This could be the blooming of a Jan Kemp moment for FSU. If “University Officials” means administrators without imput from the AD, then something of intrest might happen, such as accountability or maybe even justice on a small scale.

The justice ship you speak of has long since sailed. FSU is in for a penny with Famous Jameis, so why not a pound? The only possible saving grace is the publicity you mentioned this case getting.

Leave Jameis Alone!
There is only so much devastation a person can take: “If he had been in football only, he would have been suspended for football-related activities until he took care of all those things,” Fisher said. “We did address other issues, yes. But to him, that’s just as devastating.”
And that was even before they entrapped him by planting stolen crablegs on him.

How stupid will FSU look when they suspend the two Defensive players for violation of the school conduct code and Winston “walks” for rape charges and theft?

If FSU brought school disciplinary charges against Darby and Casher, why weren’t charges of a similar nature brought against Winston? He was there, too. Even if the State’s Attorney refused to indict Winston for rape that does not grant him immunity from the FSU judicial process.

+1,000,000. They probably will say he was a victim too since he was taped. The video was deleted so you won’t be able to prove otherwise.

Where are all the “Just win baby!” Georgia fans that say character doesn’t matter?

Are they on some other blog, maybe? Most Dawg fans I know take a lot of self-righteous pride in the character arena.

Winston would have been suspended from all team activities and ended up transferring if he was at UGA once he was investigated. He would have never even had to been charged.
Even if some miracle happened and he stayed the crab legs would have been the straw that finished him off, UGA doesn’t allow as many chances as other places, once something “Major” happens you are then one and done.

If this happened in Athens, Winston would be looking for a competent Death Penalty attorney.

Winston would have been gone after Williams nailed him with charges for possessing a BB gun.

He was cleared and this girl exposed as a liar. Why punish him over this gold digging family?

He was cleared and this girl exposed as a liar. Why punish him over this gold digging family? You’d think us dawgs fans would have some respect of media dragging the schools name through the mud with false facts. Cashier and Darby looked in at a roommate having sex. Jesus get out the nails and crosses over some slut that was cheating on her bf in town that night…. Crying wolf and setting back rape victims for a decade.

I’ll put you down as a Jameis fan, Petey. And a class act to boot.

Not cleared at all not being able to be charged does not mean he was innocent. The investigation was botched. She was not after money. Dolly is right you are a real “class” act.

Now they are paying for telling the truth to expose her lies…. They were dumb and not classy but my momma has seen worse at uga before and me after her. College kids can be pretty dumb and I’m sure they regret ever bringing that clear chaser back to the house and admitting filming it… But I mean at least they were probably being honest and saving a friend from a false rape allegation. Winston’s attorney prob told them what they’d face by admitting it.

If I were a college football coach I would have my players sign up for other sports as well. That way when they screw up they can be suspended from the equestrian team and will not miss any football games.

Good thought Boro. Maybe JSW can serve his suspension in track.
