    Bert is a few cubes short of a full tray. The real reason for scrapping the BCS and going to the 4 team playoff was to be certain that what happened in 2011 never happens again. The committee will not allow 2 SEC teams into the 4 team playoff. Period. The bigger danger is FSU, tOSU, Oregon and Oklahoma (or some others from their respective conferences) to skate through the regular season undefeated and a 12-1 SEC Champion gets left out in the cold.

    He’s confusing what would be fair with what will be popular. Let the SEC have two teams in for the next two years and there will be a revolt from the rest of the country. And if two SEC teams get in..will they have to play each other in the first round…assuring non all SEC championship game? I ‘spect.

      If the committee did let in 2 SEC teams and put then in opposite brackets, thereby assuring another SEC team as national champion, their would be more than just a revolt–there would be civil war!

      There is a requirement for being one of those 2 SEC teams, in which it states that you have to actually beat other SEC teams to get in. Bert missed the fine print on that one.

    I thought when Bert got to Arky he said the SEC was just Alabama and everybody else. He must have learned the same thing my mom taught me as a child: about 6 or 7 good ass whippings will change a fella’s tune.
