Seth Emerson, you’re such a tease.
On Wednesday, as coaches left their own meeting to come upstairs to meet with A.D.s, you couldn’t help but notice that Nick Saban, Will Muschamp and Richt were walking close together. Richt and Saban don’t see eye-to-eye on a lot of stuff, though they’ve kept that largely under the radar. Walking together to a meeting doesn’t mean they shared a beach towel earlier in the day, but hey, it’s something.
Well, it’s not exactly Mean Girls. But I can guess Seth will be dodging a few questions in his next Mailbag.
Intriguing! More evidence that Muschamp is a spy being controlled by CMR. Now we have to figure out where Saban fits in. We did read earlier in the week that he said Georgia was the toughest game Bama had in ’12….What does it all mean? They all play TN and SC, but with the Vols seemingly down this year, Spurrier could be the subject of the intrigue.

With the loss of Agent SOD and Coach “Butch Please” inroads into our recruiting base I believe it’s in all of our interests to put this away now. Saban is his usual efficient self and Muschamp needs the help to win more than uT. Imho. Evil Richt needs to make sure Florida keeps Spur out of Atlanta. Just in case….

I was curious as to that comment as well.

I’d like to start something by asking a question. Barbara famously complained about Precious having little to no talent in K’ville when he arrived and Groinsville being full of talent when Muschamp arrived. Dooley is soundly described as a failure and bad coach. What say we about Muschamp? Better than Derrick?

Actually the “lots of talent” in FU town is not entirely accurate. The GayTurds fielded a great D with a great track team operating as the O.

Are you Mayor? Or Mayor of Dawgtown?

Both. I shortened it to Mayor but sometimes the computer memory reverts to the longer handle.

Richt and Saban don’t see eye to eye because Richt is taller than three apples high.

my thoughts exactly.
Saban can’t walk and stand on those phone books at the same time.

we could always hope there is another remake of Willy Wonka, and they cast for oompa lompahs in Tuscaloosa.

Richt is probably the best liked coach in the SEC as far as other coaches are concerned. He doesn’t lie, cheat or prevent players from transferring. Hell Miles calls him “The Reverent”. He and Saban might disagree on something but you will never see Saban bad mouth Mark. Even SOS has a hard time giving Mark snark. He will still take shots at UGA but he’s not going to go all Ray Goff on Richt.

They might not see eye to eye on somethings, but I think they respect each other, and each other’s body of work.

What??!! Saban, a 4 time BCSNC winner respects Mark Richt’s “body of work?” In 13 seasons Richt has won exactly 2 SEC Championships and none in the last 8 years.Mark rRcht is a good guy and Saban probably likes him personally but “respects his body of work?” Seriously? You can’t really mean that.
