“Georgia’s fullback situation is starting to get real interesting.”
Perhaps it’s a blessing in disguise that Bobo used I-formation sets less than 30% of the time last season.

Is Turman still on the team?
He’s hurt…that you didn’t remember him.
I’m 53 and participated in my share of the illegal incineration of controlled substances during my teens. It’s not that I don’t remember him it is just I don’t remember hearing from him or of him since last year.
Ha! To tell the truth, I don’t think you are alone, I kind of forgot about him too, and he doesn’t even get an honorable mention when the press talks about our impressive backfield…
Just looking at him run, I have to say Dukes is an interesting possibility at FB. The big question for Dukes, Douglas, or anybody else , is whether or not they can lead block.
Not everybody can do it, even if they love contact. It requires a knack for getting your hat on the right guy, in the right place. Interesting.
At least we know that Douglas can flatten a defensive back
He can in the fourth quarter when everyone else is winded. But can he hold on to the ball?
I know that’s a trick question because Bobo doesn’t let the lead blocker handle the ball
Things you did expect to hear from preseason camp:
Worked with Des Williams pretty damn well. Though this would mean our most recent signing class included very, very few in the defensive front 7 (just Carter and Giallam?).
I think its Gaillard. And I think OLB/DE Keyon Brown will turn some heads before all is said and done.
