BREAKING: Stat guy likes Georgia’s chances.

Georgia is Brian Fremeau’s SEC team with the best chance at emerging from the regular season with an 11-1 or 12-0 record (42 percent).  Part of that is due to the likelihood that the West will cannibalize itself more than the East, to be sure.  Anyway, if Georgia wins on Saturday, expect the national attention already being paid to the program to intensify significantly.

  1. Based on the national attention and potential $$$ the Dawgs stand to gain for the conference, we can also expect to gain a few generous flags Saturday that will gaurentee a W! At least according to some. Right?

    • I guess so. Me .. I’ll gladly just take a well-called game. Just don’t screw us.

      • It’s neither. Sarcasm directed towards the conspiracy theorists who believe the SEC office and officials rig games to achieve the desired matchup/team in the SECCG. I am not a believer. However, I will be paying extra attention to calls/officials moving forward.

  2. I don’t think I could handle it.

But I’m willing to find out.

I’m with Ivey Leaguer on this one. I’ve grown so accustomed to seeing at least a couple of terrible calls go against us in big games that I’ll be very content with having no controversy. I think actually thinking calls may go against our opponent is vainly wishing for a miracle. I think we can also expect Penn Wagers to be there.

My biggest fear is always that an official will make a call that will cost us the game.
