Jameis Winston really doesn’t get it.
The thing is, the school looks even dumber covering for him.

What a smuck. There’s nothin else to say.

Can’t spell Jameis without an “I” and “me”. This kid sucks harder than Cam Newton

After the incident in Gainesville, which has as many variations as a HUNH offense, I was not aware Cam Newton had behavioral issues.
This Winston gentleman has worse manners than Johnny Manziel…which is pretty bad.

He’s gotten away with all his other transgressions, so bet he doesn’t comprehend what the term “1 game suspension” actually means.

He gets in more trouble from joking about a violent sex act than actually perpetrating a violent sex act.

On a more positive note, the Gator defense set a school record today for most yards allowed in a game. 🙂

Can you guys seriously chill with that? We aren’t trying to get Mushcamp fired yet. Sheesh! We want him to hang around another few years.

1) The suspension was utter BS imho. He is an adult. He can’t say “f*** her right in the p***y”? Seriously? He’s talking about something completely natural. He wasn’t talking about rape or even violent sex. Total bullshit suspension, regardless of the accusation against him which at this time is still just an accusation.
2) So what happened here. He came out fully dressed when he was supposed to be in street clothes or just his jersey? Weird.
LikeLike
He wasn’t suspended simply for saying that. He was suspended for standing up in the middle of the student union on a table and screaming it in light of the fact that he has been accused of raping a girl on the same campus and has been cited on campus for shooting windows out with a BB gun as well as cited for stealing crab legs. Alone it seems like a very minor thing. Combined with everything else he is lucky he goes to FSU and it is only a game.

The accusation is just an accusation. It really cannot be considered as more than that in a situation like this.
So he shouted a sentence? So what?
I would have loved to see FSU lose tonight, but this “gotcha” culture where we try to destroy and punish people for every slight is really getting out of hand.
How about we save the punishments for real offenses? Like I dunno, when someone is actually harmed maybe?
Punishing people for irrelevant crap like saying a sentence, eating pot brownies, or “emerging from an alley” is ridiculous.
I dunno. Maybe I’m wrong here. But I am getting really tired of people being absolutely out for blood every time someone does some minor, irrelevant thing that harms nobody.

Muck, sorry, brother, but you’ve got tough sledding trying to defend Winston. He’s the poster child for an enabled star athlete who could use his smile to get out of everything.
Stealing isn’t minor. Especially in a position of leadership. You just can’t do what he did this week. Can you even fathom Hutson Mason doing that?

No. That just put it in perspective for me. Winston’s a talent. Hope he gets it together before he screws it up

I agree on punishing him for stuff like stealing.
I agree he is a spoiled entitled athlete.
Let’s punish him when it is right, not just because we can though.
Standing on a table and shouting a rude sentence that happens to be a currently popular internet meme is excessive imho.

You ought to get suspended for thinking your position means you are so fascinating other students should interrupt their day to hear you standing on the table and cussing. Sugardaddy had it right below. Esp. W/ the accusation, real or made up…and from what I read the circumstances surrounding that investigation were dubious at best. FSU has not been impressive as an institute in the JW era, imo.

“So he shouted a sentence”?
“Punishing people for irrelevant crap like SAYING a sentence” (emphasis mine)?
You are wrong here.

It wasn’t just a sentence dumbass. It was rude and inappropriate. Do you allow your children to talk like that?

No, but they are my children.
This guy is an adult.
Does it reflect poorly on him? Of course it does.
But how about we save punishments for stuff that actually matters, or where someone is actually harmed?

LOL.
Very possible. Wouldn’t be the first time.
It just seems to me that we are wrapped up in this culture of LOOKING for things to punish people for.
There are enough serious, real crimes and such that we don’t need to go punishing people’s speech.

That’s part of his whole “I can do what I want, the rules do not apply to me” mentality – he actually thought he was going to play even though he was told he was suspended.

Well, everyone will move on from Bobo’s collosal brain fart this week. Just when I thought Clempson couldn’t find one more way to lose to FSU they came up with a handoff from the shotgun on fourth and inches to somehow give the most overrated team in the country a most improbable win.

In a close game in which Alabama is missing fgs and turning the ball over -when they finally do get in the red zone -do to they turn to two of the best RB in the league (Yelton and Henry) to tote the rock?
Alabama at the 6 YL twice, the 4YD and even THE 2YY… do they Run the Damn Ball like they are suppose to? NOOoooooo … they passed it. Jeepers what were they thinking? IDK. I hope they learned something. Next time they might not be so lucky with those TD passes. They best start listening. Alabama has plenty of fans with a whole lot of experience WFFTA* to draw upon.
