Even for Spurrier, it’s better to match wits when you win.

The OBC’s serve…

… got returned with a smash from Sumlin for the winner.

Proving that, indeed, sometimes it’s better to suffer in silence.

If Kevin had the tact and diplomacy of Spurrier, Kevin could have said:

“We’re not a very good team…and we have all the voters fooled, thinking we’re pretty good, I guess cause we beat the living daylights out of South Carolina at their place.”

That brings me to tears everytime I watch that video – and I have to admit I’ve watched it several times. It needs to be shown nationwide (not just CBS) – and hopefully ESPN will show it on one of their heartwarming stories on College Gameday. Malcolm Mitchell is a DGD.
