As far as traffic goes, two things sell really well around here: happy times and coordinator changes. Last September was the first time GTP cracked the half million hits/month barrier; second best month at the blog was this past January, when… well, you know what.
Since Pruitt’s still here, I guess this past month has to qualify as more happy times, as GTP celebrates a new traffic record: 564,621. That’s almost 19,000 hits a day. I used to go entire months without seeing that much traffic.
Thanks to all the regulars and not-so-regulars for dropping in. Hope you’ll stick with it. And I hope the program has more happy times in store for us.
Glad to see these numbers! Senator, if you ever decide to go big time and need a guy in ad sales let me know!

I think it has more to do with this site being the most insightful source (that includes radio, TV, print, blogs, whatever) for UGA football news and opinion. Period. Keep it up! I know you will.

I love the site. I also love that you can have rational discussion here unlike so many other sites for so many different schools.

Yes they are. Smoke em if you got em rule went into effect at UGa yesterday. As of today it is a no tobacco smoking campus. I guess they can dip or chew? Congrats Bluto. You’re not that far from the magic number of 100,000 hits a day.

No tobacco period AHD. Smokeless and electronic are banned as well.

Are the UGA Police going to give tickets for smoking? Maybe arrest multiple violators? Fortunately, not many athletes smoke or use tobacco related products.

Of course! That way you can police the ganja smokers better. Hope no one mentions incense
It’s time to go to the cookies. The first-named trademark one on the black market just created is Clandestine Cotton Candy Containing Chocolate Chunks (“6-C” or “sexsy”). I’m told that they are right habit forming. No diabetics, please. Patience, because the second trademark will have Equal as well as raw choc syrup and will be sun-baked. A naturally ripened and dried cherry will adorn the top.
We have “Overnighter”, “Weekender” and “Who Gives a Dawn” sizes and concentrations for our discerning college smokeless clientele. Our old fart clientele will receive angelically baked cookies under trademark names of “Wrinkly”, “Deep Ends” and “Who am I”. Those eating the latter cookies must wear a badge that say’s “Take me to the front desk.”.

What choice do we have when you keep trolling us with Hutson Mason posts. 😉
But seriously I’ve been here for years and am still amazed at the quality of the posts and comments. Keep it up.

Everyone should show their appreciation to the Senator by clicking a couple of ads today. If we all click one ad today it might pay him enough to buy a high quality glass of bourbon.
Cheers!

I used to waste a lot of time reading more than I needed about UGA football. Now, I just trust that if it’s important enough to read, it will show up on GTP.

Nice. Do you have data on how many unique visitors you get every day? Another way of phrasing that: Do you know how many of those 19,000 hits come from me hitting refresh ad infinitum while I’m at work, like Zuckerberg at the end of The Social Network?
LikeLike
It’s about a 3:1 ratio of hits to unique visits.

Don’t think I’d dock it there. It’s too close to Climax. And Syrupmakers.

LOL. But actually CJ, Hahira isn’t that close to those places. It’s close to Adel and Valdosta. I grew up 9 miles from Climax, and 20 miles from the Syrupmakers.

When is ESPN going to put you on GameDay? Someone needs to get VanPelt to start touting this place. He’d fit in great.
Just don’t let them put you on with Finebaum. There are some things even a Bulldog just won’t do.

It makes working in Amsterdam easier knowing that GTPers will be keeping Coach Richt and Bobo up to speed on how to run the program. However even a Dutch soccer fan knows that you run Gurley on the four yd line…

I can see the conversation now: Dammit, Hans, ik wed dat je 100 vergulders dat Gurley zou hebben scoorde een touchdown als Bobo hem net had gegeven de verdomde bal daar beneden

Brown nosers? How long did it take Scorp to jump Bluto’s arse after this? With skeptic you can understand it because he is just miserable about everything so pounces on anything that isn’t anti the program, but Scorp is just an old fool, probably a Munson relative and skeered of witches and haints. Then out of nowhere, he goes postal on the Good Senator who was making a balanced, valid point. Lot of itchy trigger fingers around after last weekend. Gonna be fine this weekend, big time blowout coming Scorp. Come on, let’s tease those spirits and see what happens…might be more fun than sitting around growling. I even hope we draw our old buddy Penn this weekend, rather get his annual bloodletting out of the way for 2014.
