He’s the Heisman in the truest since of the award. Thus he proly won’t win.

Not if there’s a big fat Big# player who has a few numbers.
Besides that, Gurley’s a classy guy.

I’ve noticed from Section 601, Row 48 that Gurley has lost a little zip when he hits the hole vs. his freshman year. Sort of floats to the outside more rather than punch through like Douglas and Hicks. Look at that one play vs. UT where he chose to fly rather than run over the defender. Maybe it’s something in his head, or how he’s not turning his hips. Richt and Bobo are probably just being loyal to him. We need to run Douglas and Chubb more to be ready for next season since nothing’s going to happen this year anyway.
You guys agree?

Gurley’s fourth quarter numbers are incredible. The has played in three fourth quarters. He has 21 carries for 255 yards, meaning he averages 85 yards per fourth quarter (a 340 yards per game pace) and is averaging 12 yards per fourth quarter carry.

Part of that is Richt is saving the bulk of his carries for later in the game, and the other part is that Gurley put the weight room work in this offseason. He just grinds defenses down.

Maybe now that Oregon lost he’ll move to the top. I’d sure like to see him win it.
