Nah. He used to play pick-up basketball games for money ’til he got too old and couldn’t dunk anymore. Neighborhood kids took him to the cleaners. Now he just predicts outcomes of sports contests–incorrectly. You can usually find him hanging around the back alleys behind liquor stores. He makes his living now buying booze for underage kids–at least he says he will–then he takes their money and runs. That’s why he has to move constantly from alley to alley. Typical ESPN guy.
Weird as seems to say, she’s probably right. I’d even say Tech has a better chance of getting to the playoffs than we do. Beat a bunch of scrubs, UGA and Florida St and you’re there.
Sad but true. The B1G is out of it already. The champion of the ACC has a great chance of getting into the playoff. Tech has already beaten the 2 best teams in the Coastal Division of the ACC and appears on the way to winning that Division and a spot in the ACCCG even if they lose to Duck this weekend. If the Nerds win the ACCCG, they are likely in. Hard to imagine them beating FSU, though. Not to mention they are 1-12 against Georgia in the Richt era……..Wait…… Ignore what I just said……….No way!!
I tend to agree Mizzou is the favorite in the east. UT and USCe are eliminated. You cannot have much confidence in that UF offense. They get the UGA game at home and have at A&M and home Arkansas games left. We already have one conference loss with at Arkansas and home Auburn still on the schedule. Just playing the percentages things seem to be set up for them to win the east this year.
Make that, even less confidence in the UF offense. This just in:
“GAINESVILLE — Another day, another Florida Gators quarterback, another problem.
University of Florida third-team quarterback Skyler Mornhinweg was involved in an altercation with teammate Gerald Willis on Monday night outside Ben Hill Griffin Stadium. UF police were called to the altercation.”
No charges were filed, but you have to be amazed at all the karma coming home to roost at the Swamp.
Willis is a defensive player. Imagine the frustration the FU defensive players must feel. The D is good but the O stinks and is dragging the team down. Love it!!!!
Yeah, but Skyler is the starting or rotating QB with Harris suspended. “I couldn’t throw the ball very well due to my macerated knuckles. That’s why they got the pick at the goal line with no time left and we lost the game.”
Yessirree! The Swamp be heating up quick. Hope that head doesn’t hang all the way down before we get a shot at them.
Roundup’s generic chemical name is glyphosate. Buy the cheapest weed killer on the shelf that has glyphosate. If you use a lot of it, the cheapest way is to buy glyphosate undiluted (41%) and mix it with water.
Hmmm… I wouldn’t spray round up this time of year no matter how cheap you find it (nicely done HVL I do the same thing). Most of you’re weeds have already gone to seed. They are gonna die anyway. Get on top of the new stuff mid spring.
Mizzou can win out with that schedule. We’ll still have Auburn. So SCar could be the team that beat the team that won the East. I’m sure there’s a ring for that.
Gotta vent here since I can’t find anywhere more ideal. I realize they don’t really matter at this point but the polls this season are BS!! Mississippi State is 3rd? Really? Yeah…they blew out aTm, which is good, but they also beat a bad LSU team. Meanwhile, we’re in the exact same spot we were after losing by 3 on the road… and we’ve won 3 freaking games since. Mississippi state wasn’t even ranked to start the year. There are also two team’s ahead of us who just lost when we lost almost a month ago.
The difference is that Miss State did not lose to a now crappy USC team. It appears as if that Carolina loss is gonna sting a lot longer than we thought.
Just look at the schedules. If Mizzou beats Georgia, Mizzou is the favorite. If Georgia beats Mizzou, Georgia is the favorite. This game is big.

Doesn’t get any bigger, unless we win. Then they’ll all be big if we keep winning, with Auburn being the monster game.
We’ll see if we have what it takes to play a 60 minute game. It would be a nice thing to see.

Almost as good as Heather Dinich saying the Jackets are “dark horse” playoff contenders. How dark do you have to go to get to GT?

I’m having a hard time seeing them win out with the tail end of their schedule. Clemson? Not sure Tech can stop ’em.

The game Saturday is crucial for tie breakers…Although I could very easily seeing the East Champ having 2 losses…
